REGULATIONS
2014 Senior Asian Championship
Greco-roman, Freestyle and Female wrestling
1. General Information
1.1 The International Federation of Associated Wrestling Style (FILA) has
entrusted the Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation with the organization of
the 2014 Senior Asian Championship (GR-FS-FW).
1.2 2014 Senior Asian Championship will be held according to the FILA
Rules and Regulations.
1.3 2014 Senior Asian Championship will be organized and held by
Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation, Agency of the Sports and Physical
training affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Organizing
Committee based in Astana.
1.4 2014 Senior Asian Championship (GR-FS-FW) will take place in
Astana, Kazakhstan from April, 23 to April, 27 2014.
2. Date & Venue
2.1 The competition will take place in the Sports Complex “Daulet” from
April, 23 to April, 27 2014 in Astana with the following address:
Kabanbay Batyr Street 6/3, Tel.: +7(7172) 48-46-24, 44-56-24.
2.2 The wrestling hall has a capacity of 2700 seats for spectators, athletes,
coaches, officials, referees, journalists and has other necessary facilities.
2.3 The program of the competition is enclosed.
3. Participation
3.1 Participation in 2014 Senior Asian Championship for GR-FS-FW is open
to all Asian National Wrestling Federations affiliated with FILA.
3.2 Each National Wrestling Federation has the right to participate with a
maximum of 1 (one) wrestler per weight category in all three styles.
3.3 The composition of the official delegation will be in according to the
following table as laid down by FILA:

Annotation:
1. This table is valid for each style.
2. The number of referees mentioned above is one as a minimum.
3. The participating Federations can present up to 2 (two) referees of
Olympic Category or Category I.
4. All referees who are authorized to work will be accredited with the same
conditions as the participants.
4 Entries
4.1 Valid entries on the official entry forms are to be sent both to the
Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation and FILA:
a) Preliminary entries till February 20, 2014
b) Nominative entries till March 20, 2014
c) Final entries sealed by National Federation must be provided during
the work of Mandat Commission.
d) In order to make accreditation card, all participants should send one
personal photograph of 3,5*4,5 with the name, country, weight
category by E-mail or airmail to Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation
till March 20, 2014.
e) Visa applications must be sent to Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation
till February 20, 2014.
5 Officials
5.1 Only Category Olympic or Category I referees may officiate in the
competition.
5.2 Each referee must present his valid license for the year.
5.3 Referee must wear the official FILA uniform.
6 Technical Organization
6.1 The competition will be held according to the FILA Rules of Wrestling.
6.2 Maximum of 2 (two) Category Olympic or Category I referees per
country are allowed to officiate under the same financial conditions as
wrestlers. Countries that do not have Category Olympic or Category I
referees can participate without referees.
6.3 Each referee must present his valid license with FILA stamps for the
year 2014.
6.4 Wearing the official FILA uniform for referees is obligatory.
6.5 2014 Senior Asian Championship will be conducted in 8 (eight) weight
categories in Greco-roman, Freestyle and Female wrestling:
- GR: 59, 66, 71, 75, 80, 85, 98, 130 kg
- FS: 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 86, 97, 125 kg
- FW: 48, 53, 55, 58, 60, 63, 69, 75 kg
6.6 3(three) mats approved by FILA will be used for the competition.
6.7 Each wrestler has to pass a medical examination in his country three
days prior to departure to the competition in Kazakhstan. The results of
examination should be recorded in the wrestler’s license book.
6.8 Each wrestler must undergo a medical examination one (1) hour before
weigh-in according to the schedule of the competition.
6.9 Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation and Organizing Committee of Asian
Championship will assure the first aid during the competition in case of
an accident. All participants must be insured against accidents, injuries,
etc.
7 Awards
7.1 The organizing committee will provide individual prizes for each weight
category as follows:
- 1st place - gold medal, diploma.
- 2nd place - silver medal, diploma.
- 3rd places - bronze medal, diploma.
7.2 All participants of Asian Championship will receive certificates of
participation.
8 Official Ceremonies
8.1 Each participating team must be present at the opening and closing
ceremonies.
8.2 The flags of the winners will be hoisted during the award ceremony.
8.3 The national anthem of the country of the winner of the competition will
be played in his honor.
8.4 All representatives of teams should provide the Organizing committee
with a 100 x 200 cm flag and National Anthem (CD or a tape).
9 Financial Conditions
9.1 Participation fee will be 180 CHF per day per person from April, 23 to
April 27, 2014 for the delegation according to the above mentioned
FILA table.
9.2 Additional persons apart from the delegation listed above in point 3.3 of
the present regulations, as well as the delegations or persons staying for
longer than scheduled will be charged with 210 CHF per person per day.
9.3 Delegation leaders must pay financial obligations to the Organizing
committee upon arrival and meet all accreditation and other
requirements.
9.4 Entry fee for the competition will be 100 CHF per person.
9.5 Travels expenses to the competition place will be covered by National
Federations of participating teams.
9.6 According to the Regulations, Agency of the Sports and Physical
training affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Wrestling
Federation and Akimat of Astana will bear expenses for local
transportations, accommodation, meals for teams and FILA
representatives, rent of the sport complex, referees’ travel expenses and
wages.

Journalists
10.1 Accreditation forms for journalists are enclosed herewith and must be
returned to the Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation before March, 20 2014.
10.2 Journalists will have a press center at their disposal during the
competition. Working hours of the press center from 08:00 to 20:00. The
accommodation and food arrangement for journalists are not the
organizer’s responsibility but must be made by the journalists
themselves.
10.3 Video recording will be made following a contractual agreement with
FILA and with accreditation by the organizers.
10.4 No digital video cameras will be accepted in the competition hall without
these requirements being followed.

Accommodation, Meals and Transport
11.1 The organizing Committee will provide transport from airport to the
hotel in case if Asian National Federations send their travel details in
advance.
11.2 Shuttle busses from accommodation place to competition hall will be
provided to the teams by the Organizing Committee.
11.3 Accommodation for participants will be ensured by the Organizing
Committee at the following hotels for the duration of competition.

11.4 Meals with a calorific value according to the FILA Rules will be served
to wrestlers, coaches, referees and officials in their residential hotels.
11.5 All delegations must make transport arrangements from their country to
the organizing city at their account.
11.6 Delegation leaders will be responsible for any damage incurred by
members of their delegation during their stay.
12 Miscellaneous
12.1 Competitors who require visas to enter Kazakhstan must contact the
embassy or consulate of Kazakhstan in their country of residence to
avoid any inconvenience.
12.2 The correspondence relating to 2014 Senior Asian Championship must
