The fashion house Didier Parakian, internationally known for its unique style and the quality of its products, was
created in 1989 in Marseille, by the eclectic Didier Parakian. The luxury brand of ready-to-wear tells the story of a
personal and family adventure, a history of passion, full of cultural influences and choices. The exotic taste of Armenian
culture, to which the family belongs, is enhanced with a strong sense of colour which reminds the atmosphere, the
warmth, the images, sounds and perfumes typical of Mediterranean cities. Adding the elegance of French style,
these traits are at the origin of Didier Parakian creations and collections. The result of this combining of creative
suggestions is then highly realised by the best Italian manufacturers, revealing the highest skills of the tradition
of Made In Italy. Didier Parakian brand is a burst of colours awakening the senses, with originality and freedom of
shapes – a unique style with strict attention to details. Prints, jacquard knits, contrast of colours, fine embroideries,
are the keywords of Didier Parakian collections, which never end to surprise. The Didier Parakian woman is unique
in her style, because proud of her diversity, her multiplicity and nuances. She doesn’t want to be associated with a

La maison française Didier Parakian, internationalement reconnue pour son style unique et la qualité des produits,
a été créée en 1989 sur la Côte d’Azur, par l’éclectique Didier Parakian. La marque de luxe de prêt-à-porter raconte
une histoire personnelle et familiale, une histoire de passion, de choix et d’influences culturelles. Le goût exotique
de la culture arménienne, à laquelle la famille appartient, s’ajoute à un sens de la couleur qui rappelle l’atmosphère,
la chaleur, les images, les sons et les odeurs typiques des villes méditerranéennes, qui, avec l’élégance du style
français sont du début inspiration début des collections. Le résultat de cette combinaison de suggestions est ensuite
habilement élaboré par les meilleurs façonniers italiens, aux plus hauts niveaux de la tradition du Made in Italy.

A hidden garden, the weak light of the street lamps, some night flowers blooming at sunset, this is where a dream
springs, this is the moment when the undertaken journey of Didier Parakian Fall Winter 2015-16 collection begins.
The protagonist of our story travels into exotic places, attracted by sounds and perfumes speaking an unknown
language. The character flees far away from the city and its daily routine, to impenetrable forests, discovering once
again the forgotten beauty of nature and purity of tribal cultures. This travel became the inspiration - painting the
canvas with rhythmic movements taking shape in living and shining textures. The perfectly balanced mixture of
ethnic and urban influences, defines the icon of an extremely present woman, conscious and feminine. The prints are
as undisputed protagonists: dresses, shirts, trousers and jackets are printed with drawings depicting exotic cultures,
assembled between them into a total look full of impressive impacts. The colours are mixed inside the prints, and
reveal the plains into peculiar combinations, though extremely refined. Small hints of oilseed yellow, rust and red
are contrasting and completing each other, combining with the black and the white colours, and the Peacock blue
and plum colour. The knits acquire a significant position in the collection. The Jacquards – a core competence of the
House – are enhanced by new mixtures of threads, and are complemented by a range of plain knits, in which quality
and exclusive works define volumes and modern proportions.
Quand on part pour un lointain voyage, aux premiers deux ou trois gares on garde le souvenir des lieux qu’on a quitté,
puis au premier matin rencontré sur la rue, on ne songe plus qu’au bout du voyage et l’on commence à bâtir les châteaux

Un jardin caché, la faible lumière des réverbères, des fleurs au coucher du soleil, c’est le cadre où le rêve débute, c’est
l’instant où commence le voyage entrepris avec la collection automne/hiver 2015-16 Didier Parakian. La protagoniste
de notre histoire se déplace dans des endroits exotiques, attirée par des sons et des parfums qui parlent une langue
inconnue, fuyant loin de la ville et de la routine quotidienne vers des forêts impénétrables, redécouvrant la beauté
oubliée de la nature et la pureté des cultures tribales. Ce voyage est la source d’inspiration peignant la toile avec
des mouvements rythmiques, lui donnant sa texture et des couleurs vives et brillantes. Le mélange parfaitement
équilibré d’influences ethniques et urbaines définit l’image d’une femme très actuelle, par sa conscience et sa
féminité. Les imprimés règnent en maîtres : robes, chemises, pantalons et vestes reflètent des motifs évoquant
des cultures exotiques mélangés pour des total looks flamboyants. Les nuances se retrouvent dans les imprimés
comme dans les unis, en combinaisons singulières et raffinées. Des petites touches de jaune, ocre et rouge s’opposent
et se complètent, en combinaison avec le blanc, le noir, le bleu paon et le prune. Les mailles tiennent une place
prépondérante dans la collection. Les jacquards, marque de fabrique de la maison Didier Parakian, sont enrichis de
nouveaux mélanges de fils, complétés par une gamme en uni. L’utilisation de matériaux de qualité lié à un savoirfaire exclusif, apportent à la collection volumes et proportions modernes.
