Vinci Immobilier sells first Motel One hotel in France to Foncière des
Régions and Caisse des Dépôts
A 255-room hotel in the 12th arrondissement of Paris
VINCI Immobilier announced the signing of an agreement for the off-plan sale of the first
Motel One three-star hotel to Foncière des Régions and Caisse des Dépôts. This hotel,
located at Porte Dorée in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, will be the German hotel chain's
first establishment in France.
Developed by VINCI Immobilier for Foncière des Régions and Caisse des Dépôts (on a 50/50
basis), and designed by the MCBAD architecture agency, the hotel will have 255 rooms, a lounge
bar and a south-facing terrace opening onto a lush green area.
Located by the ring road, the hotel will benefit from excellent visibility and a high-quality
environment, in the heart of a tree-planted garden, between the Palais de la Porte Dorée and
Bois de Vincennes. Its attractive location will be ideal for all business and tourist travel: near the
major roads leading to Paris' airports, business districts and international exhibition centres, and
near public transport facilities to the centre of Paris.
In line with the partners' sustainable development goals, the hotel will have the BREEAM "Very
Good" certification.

This project, developed on a site earmarked by the city of Paris for hotel development, reasserts
the ability of VINCI Immobilier's Hotel division to provide long-term support to international
operators and investors in their development strategies for this type of assets.
This operation also gives concrete expression to the strategic partnership initiated in February
2015 between Foncière des Régions – the leading partner of hotel chains in their European
development – and Motel One.
With 53 hotels offering a total of nearly 14,000 rooms, Motel One is one of the most dynamic
budget design hotel chains. Combining comfort and design, excellent locations and attractive
prices, Motel One aims to significantly expand its presence in Europe.
