We are glad to present the 2011 program of the RHYTHM Congress dedicated to the “Future Technological &
Investigational Directions of Arrhythmias and Heart Failure Treatments”.
Congress target audience: General physicians, interventional and general cardiologists,
pacing and heart failure specialists, electro physiologists, radiologists, echocardiographists
with a private or hospital practice as well as engineers and industrials.
Public congrès : Médecins généralistes, cardiologues de ville et interventionnels, spécialistes en stimulation et insuffisance cardiaque, électophysiologistes, échocardiographistes du milieu hospitalier ou privé ainsi que les ingénieurs et industriels.
French paramedical session target audience: Technician, nurses, clinical research specialists.
Public session paramédicale : IDE, IBODE, IADE, technicien(ne)s, attaché(e)s de recherche clinique.
During 3 days of intensive teaching, we will find out, with European and international experts, how the progresses in
technology, devices, interventional approaches and medications, will help us to offer our patients the best therapeutic
strategies.
The congress will start with one entire day dedicated to Atrial Fibrillation, broadcasting two challenging live cases on AF
ablation from St Joseph Hospital Marseille. The attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the interventionist. In
parallel, conferences & videos will deepen subjects in Electrophysiology, ablation strategies, and bring to light new
techniques as Robotic Magnetic Navigation or Cryotherapy.
The second day will be made of conferences and videos on Ventricular Arrhythmias, Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy,
Imaging & multidisciplinary approach in Heart Failure Management in different countries. The diagnostic and therapeutic
arsenals of now and tomorrow will be exposed, compared and discussed.
The Free Papers Sessions on Sunday morning will conclude this course. Do not hesitate to send your abstracts for the
competition before March 31 2009! Finally, we are also very proud to present, for the second time, the French Paramedical
Session on Saturday June 13, specially taylored for nurses and technicians.

Directions Technologiques et Investigations dans le Traitement des Arythmies et de l’Insuffisance Cardiaque ».
Durant ces 3 jours d’enseignement intensif, nous déterminerons, grâce à une faculté d’experts Européens et internationaux,
comment les progrès en technologie, approches interventionnelles et traitements médicamenteux nous permettront d’offrir
la meilleure stratégie thérapeutique à nos patients.
French practical day target audience: Rythmologists, general cardiologists, future
cardiologists, general physicians.
Registration fees: Registration form to be completed and returned to Com&Co.
Confirmed registration upon receipt of full payment. Deadline for early registration
fees: March 18, 2011 with payment reception. Final deadline for pre-registrations:
May 13, 2011. Possibility to register onsite but the organizers recommend pre-booking. Registration fees include: access to all scientific medical sessions and exhibition
hall, abstract book, coffee breaks and lunches. Nominative badge mandatory.
How to book a room: Privileged rates: return your form, indicating the hotel of your
choice and include a second one. Any changes must be communicated in writing to
Com&Co. Upon reception of the Housing Form, together with a deposit of one night
accommodation, a booking confirmation letter will be sent to the delegate by e-mail
only. No confirmation can be made if these conditions are not fulfilled. Prices quoted are per room, per night, VAT included, in Euros. City tax not included. Balance

de deux procédures d’ablation permettant aux participants de comparer les stratégies opératoires, la performance du
matériel utilisé et d’interagir en direct avec le praticien. En parallèle, des conférences & cas vidéo permettront d’approfondir
l’electrophysiologie cardiaque, les stratégies d’ablation dans des pathologies spécifiques et d'étudier la Navigation par
Robotique Magnétique et l’ablation par Cryothérapie.
