C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille vous annonce le
décès de Mme Irène D. Tousignant le 22 février 2016, à l’âge
de 73 ans, à l’hôpital Lady Minto. Elle est précédée par son
époux feu Gérard. Elle laisse également dans le deuil sa fille
Manon (Stéphane) Boucher de Cochrane.

Elle était la grand-mère Michel (Brittanya) Boucher et Sophie
(Thomas) Boucher.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses frères et sœurs: Lucille
Larochelle, Alice (Aurèle) Sauvé, Hélène (René) Noël, Pierre
(Kathleen) Papineau, Gisèle Papineau, Thérèse (Normand)
Therrien, Nicole (Ernie) Nowlan, Donald (Wendy) Papineau
et ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Irène fut prédécédée par ses parents Avila Papineau et Exilia
Lamothe, sa sœur Madeleine, ses frère Lucien, Jean-Louis
(Gaétane) Papineau et son beau-frère René Larochelle.
Elle aimait être avec sa famille mais surtout ses deux petitsenfants. Elle aimait visiter la famille, faire du scooter, tricoter
et jouer aux cartes.
La famille recevra parents et amis le vendredi 26 février 2016
à partir de 14h jusqu’à 16 et de 19h à 21h et ainsi que le
samedi 27 février 2016 à partir de 9h jusqu’à 10h15 à Les
Maisons Funéraires Génier Gauthier Funeral Homes de
Cochrane.
Les funérailles aura lieu à l’Église de la Transfiguration de
Cochrane, le samedi 27 février 2016 à 10h30, célébré par le
Père Rémi Lessard.
La famille apprécierait des dons « The Daffodil Terrace
Lodge » de Sudbury et l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane.

The Family announces with deep sorrow the passing of Mrs.
Irene D. Tousignant at the Lady Minto Hospital on Monday,
February 22nd, 2016 at the age of 73. She was predeceased
by her husband Gérard. She leaves in mourning her daughter
Manon (Stéphane) Boucher.
She was the beloved grandmother of Michel (Brittanya)
Boucher and Sophie (Thomas) Boucher.
Irene also leaves in mourning her siblings: Lucille
Larochelle, Alice (Aurèle) Sauvé, Hélène (René) Noël, Pierre
(Kathleen) Papineau, Gisèle Papineau, Thérèse (Normand)
Therrien, Nicole (Ernie) Nowlan, Donald (Wendy)
Papineauand as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Avila Papineau and
Exilia Lamothe,her siblings: Madeleine, Lucien, Jean-Louis
(Gaétane) Papineau and a brother-in-law René Larochelle.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 26th,
2016 from 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9pm and also on Saturday,
February 27th, 2016 from 9 am to 10:15 am at Les Maisons
Funéraires Génier Gauthier Funeral Homes Inc., 70 – 7th
Avenue South of Cochrane.
The funeral service will be held at the Transfiguration church
on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at 10:30 am with Reverend
Rémi Lessard officiating.
Donations to The Daffodil Terrace Lodge of Sudbury or Lady
Minto Hospital of Cochrane would be appreciated by the
family.
