COSA É “TILE GLASS”
Si tratta di una lastra di vetro di 5 mm a cui, dopo l’incollaggio sul retro della
pellicola decorativa con procedimenti innovativi, viene applicato uno strato di
3 mm di Eulithe® che va a fungere da base isolante-adattiva. Eulithe è una
schiuma poliuretanica innovativa i cui vantaggi (e scheda tecnica dedicata) sono

WHAT IS “TILE GLASS”
It is a 5 mm thick sheet of glass to which, after gluing the decorative film on the
back with an innovative procedure, a 3 mm layer of Eulithe® is applied which
acts as an insulating-adaptive base.

TAGLIO
Inizialmente occorre prendere la stessa misura di taglio sia nella parte inferiore
(quella con l’Eulithe) sia nella parte superiore col vetro. Prima si incide l’Eulithe
e si asporta una piccola fetta della medesima con un semplice cutter, poi si
incide il vetro superiore con punta/lama diamante da vetro. Un piccolo colpo
secco ed il vetro si spezza perfettamente. Infine si introduce nella fessura del
vetro il cutter con cui si taglia la pellicola interna. Al fine di rendere nuovamente
impermeabile il bordo appena tagliato è opportuna l’applicazione lungo tutto il
medesimo di un modesto, ma uniforme, strato di LOCTITE, verificando che non
restino fessure tra il vetro e l’Eulithe. Lasciare poi asciugare per alcuni minuti.
(Queste istruzioni sono indicate per tagli sui lati. Per tagli o forature centrali è
necessario portare il pezzo da un vetraio professionista).
CUTTING
First of all, the same cutting measurement must be taken both on the bottom
(with the Eulithe) and on the top of the glass. First use a cutter to cut away a
small slice of the Eulithe, then cut the glass with a diamond tip/blade for glass.
Tap the glass lightly to make a clean break. Insert the cutter into the break in
the glass to cut the inner film. In order to make the cut edge waterproof again,
a small but uniform amount of LOCTITE should be applied all the way along the
edge, ensuring that there are no gaps between the glass and the Eulithe.
Leave to dry for a few minutes.
(These instructions apply only when cutting the sides. To cut or drill holes in the
centre, the piece should be taken to a professional glazier).
MATERIALI PER LA POSA
Il fondo in Eulithe permette la posa di “Tile Glass” anche su fondi non perfettamente regolari e planari. É necessario l’utilizzo delle seguenti colle/fughe (o
equivalenti di altre marche).

Una particolare attenzione è necessaria nell’operazione di stuccatura per evitare che restino fessure o piccoli fori in cui acqua ed umidità possano penetrare.
MANTENIMENTO
Con normali prodotti non abrasivi per la cura del vetro normalmente in commercio.
NOTE
“Tile Glass” è stato studiato per applicazione a rivestimento. Lo spessore del vetro di 5mm NON consente l’applicazione a pavimento in quanto non garantisce
la necessaria resistenza alla pressione che vi sarebbe applicata.

LAYING/GROUTING
The Eulithe base allows “Tile Glass” to be laid even on uneven or bumpy surfaces. The following adhesives/joints (or equivalent of other brands) should be
used.
Glue for laying:

Grouting:

Take particular care when grouting to avoid leaving gaps or holes where water
or moisture could penetrate.
MAINTENANCE
Use normal, commercially available non-abrasive products to clean the glass.
NOTES
“Tile Glass” has been designed for walls. The 5 mm glass thickness DOES NOT
allow to use on the floors, as resistance to the pressure is not guaranteed.

Il s’agit d’une plaque de verre de 5 mm à laquelle, après collage sur l’arrière de
la pellicule décorative avec un processus innovant, est appliquée une couche de
3 mm d’Eulithe® qui servira de base isolante-adaptive. Eulithe est une mousse
polyuréthane innovante dont les avantages (et la fiche technique dédiée) sont
disponibles sur le site www.eulithe.it.

Es handelt sich um eine 5 mm dicke Glasscheibe, auf die, nach Aufkleben auf
der Rückseite der Verzierungsfolie mittels innovativer Verfahren, eine weitere 3
mm starke Eulithe ® -Schicht aufgetragen wird, die als adaktive Isolierbasis fungiert. Eulithe ist ein innovativer Polyurethanschaum, dessen Vorteile (und die detaillierte Technische Datenkarte) im Internet auf www.eulithe.it verfügbar sind.
DÉCOUPE
Au départ il faut prendre la même mesure de découpe aussi bien dans la partie
inférieure (celle avec l’Eulithe) que dans la partie supérieure avec le verre. On
coupe tout d’abord l’Eulithe et on en enlève une petite tranche tout simplement
avec un cutter, puis on coupe le verre supérieur avec une pointe/lame diamant
pour verre. Un petit coup sec et le verre se casse facilement. On introduit dans
la fente du verre le cutter avec lequel on coupe la pellicule interne.
Pour que le bord coupé soit à nouveau imperméable, il faut appliquer de manière uniforme une légère couche de LOCTITE tout au long, en contrôlant qu’il ne
reste aucune fissure entre le verre et l’Eulithe. Laisser sécher ensuite pendant
quelques minutes.
(Ces instructions conviennent pour des découpes sur les côtés. Pour des
découpes ou des trous dans le centre il faut porter le verre chez un vitrier
professionnel).
MATERIAL/ZUSCHNITT
Anfangs müssen die gleichen Schneidmaße sowohl auf der Unterseite (die mit
Eulithe) als auch auf der Oberseite (mit dem Glas) genommen werden.
Zuerst wird Eulithe eingeritzt und mit einem Cutter wird ein kleiner Streifen von
Eulithe entfernt, dann wird das obere Glas mit einem Diamant-Glasschneider
eingeschnitten. Ein leichter Hieb und das Glas zerbricht genau an der Ritznaht.
Nun wird der Cutter in die Glasspalte eingeführt, um die Innenfolie zu schneiden.
Um den abgeschnittenen Rand wieder wasserdicht zu machen, muss entlang
des ganzen Randes eine dünne, einförmige Schicht LOCTITE aufgetragen werden, wobei darauf zu achten ist, dass zwischen Glas und Eulithe kein Spalt offen
bleibt. Einige Minuten trocknen lassen.
(Die Anleitung eignet sich für Seitenschnitte. Für Zentralschnitte oder Bohrungen muss die Scheibe zu einem professionellen Glaser gebracht werden).
POSE
Le fond en Eulithe permet de poser le “Tile Glass” également sur des fonds pas
très réguliers ni très plats. Il faut utiliser les colles/joints suivants (ou équivalents d’autres marques).

Il faut faire très attention pendant le stockage pour éviter de laisser des fissures
ou des petits trous dans lesquels peuvent s’infiltrer l’eau et l’humidité.
ENTRETIEN
Utiliser les produits pour les soins du verre non abrasifs que l’on trouve normalement dans le commerce.
NOTES “Tile Glass” a été conçu pour être appliqué comme revêtement.
L’épaisseur du verre de 5mm NE permet PAS l’application au sol car elle ne
garantit pas la résistance nécessaire à la pression que l’on pourrait y appliquer.
MATERIAL/VERLEGUNG
Die Eulithe-Basis ermöglicht die Verlegung von “Tile Glass” auch auf nicht vollkommen ebenen und regelmäßigen Untergrund. Dazu müssen folgende Kleber/
Fugenfüller (oder gleichwertiges Material anderer Marken) verwendet werden.

Besondere Aufmerksamkeit ist beim Fugenfüllen notwendig, um Spalten oder
kleine Löcher zu vermeiden, in die Wasser und Feuchtigkeit eindringen können.

Mit handelsüblichen normalen, nicht scheuernden Glas-Pflegemitteln.
ANMERKUNGEN
“Tile Glass” wurde für Verkleidungszwecke entwickelt. Die Stärke des Glases
von 5 mm erlaubt NICHT die Verlegung am Boden, da der nötige Druckwiderstand nicht gewährleistet ist.
