Opening Line: "As assignments went, this one was odd."
GET YOUR MOTOR RUNNING...
RIDING WILD is the perfect fantasy escapism read. A bit like candy because you know it's bad for you yet it's oh so
good. So strap on your leathers, hop on the back of Mac's Harley and hit the open road. It's sure to be quite the
adventure as you dodge bullets and try to stay one step ahead of both your sexy kidnapper and the bad guys who
aren't far behind. You'll be staying in tents, cheap motels and attending bike rallies along the way but you won't
have any responsibilities. (Think no job, kids, husbands or laundry to worry about.) Just the wind in your face, the
open road ahead of you and an engine purring between your thighs. So wrap your arms around that bad-boy
hunk you've never quite been able to forget, snuggle in behind his broad shoulders and get ready to use him for a
no strings affair.
Yeah, I really liked this book. It was fun, exciting and very, very sexy. Mac as our hero is never quite who he
appears to be. Still it seems, running from a troubled past and the one woman he could never forget. Lily West is
no longer the virginal girl he left behind either but now a spirited P.I who's pushed her memories of Mac aside
and isn't going to believe his lies anymore.
Our couple are reunited at a museum as Lily attempts to stop a priceless artifact from being stolen. She'd never
expected to see Mac again and it appears he hasn't changed either, he's still a thief. As the bullets start flying it's
all Mac can do to keep Lily out of harms way and not blow his cover. She has no intention of going anywhere with
him however and may just shoot him on the spot. All of which means Mac's going to have to resort to kidnapping
to keep her quiet.
This is going to be quite the trip down memory lane as our couple hits the road. Mac can't tell her who he's now
This is going to be quite the trip down memory lane as our couple hits the road. Mac can't tell her who he's now
working for and Lily is willing to use any way necessary to steal the artifact back, even if it means using sex as a
weapon. This time Lily's going to leave Mac just the way he left her years before- loving her and wanting more.
I can highly recommend RIDING WILD which is the first of the erotic Wild Riders series. I'm planning another
escape soon with the follow up (Riding Temptation) Cheers.|** spoiler alert **
Rich girl Lily is dumped (for her own good, of course) by sexy first love, wrong side of the tracks, petty thief, all
around bad guy Mac.
Lily moves on, heartbroken, to college and a law enforcement/P.I. career (against rich guy lawyer Daddy's wishes).
Daddy wants her to join his law firm- Lily wants to do her own thing and maybe take a walk on the wild side.
Mac moves own, gets in big trouble with his thievery, but manages to get his life turned around with the help of
an ex-military General. Mac now works, along with some other former law breakers, for the General and a secret
Government agency called Wild Riders. This agency uses the skills of former thieves to 'reclaim' goods that were
stolen from the gov't., when the gov't can't reclaim them through normal, 'legal' channels.
Now after 10 years and on a museum stakeout, Lily witnesses her lost love Mac, stealing a museum artifact. Mac is
shot at by some bad guys, sees Lily, and drags her along with him, escaping on a wild ride on his Harley. Inside the
artifact is a vial containing a deadly poison that could wreck havoc on the world if it falls into the wrong hands.
While Mac assures Lily that he's one of the good guys, Lily doesn't know if she should trust him. How can she be
sure that he doesn't want to turn the virus over to terrorists and make a ton of money? Mac can't tell her the
whole story of who he works for, as he is sworn to secrecy, and is not sure who Lily is working for either. Lily wants
to believe in Mac, but after 10 years, she's just not sure any more.
What follows is a wild ride away from the bad guys, on Mac's Harley, from Chicago to Dallas. On the way Mac and
Lily rekindle their hot romance, and Lily and Mac learn to trust each other like they never have before. There's lots
and lots of passionate encounters, a little suspense thrown in, and a meeting with the other sexy and a little
dangerous Wild Riders that has 'numerous sequels' written all over it.
This was a sexy, fun, fast-paced read for me, and I'm hoping there are numerous sequels. It reminded me a little of
Tara Janzen's 'Crazy' series, only more erotic. If you like an exciting, erotic read with a little suspense on the side,
then this 'wild ride' is for you!|4 ½ stars – Romantic Suspense/Erotica
Jaci Burton's Wild Riders is a fun and sexy erotica series with a great mix of action, humor, suspense, and scorching
hot romance. The Wild Riders are a super secret undercover government agency made up of ex-thieves turned
good guys/gals, who ride bikes and drive muscle cars. Riding Wild is the first book in the series and features sexy
Wild Rider Mac and feisty PI Lily. Riding Wild is a fun and sexy read. 4 ½...almost 5 stars!|Wow! This is a fast and
extremely sexy read! The chemistry between these two had the pages smoking as I was reading. In Dallas, as a
teen Lily was a wealthy girl who fell for the town bad boy. He rode a motorcycle, ditched school, gets into trouble
with the cops, etc. They fell in love, but neither acknowledged it at the time. Lily's father is of course extremely
against their relationship. After all, Mac is just trash. At Lilly's urging, Mac (don't you just love that name)takes her
virginity. Inside, he really feels that he is not good enough for her, and that she should listen to her father. He
coldly dumps her and tears off into the sunset thinking he's doing what's best for her. She is understandably
crushed. Her father wants her to go to law school and join the family business. She has never wanted that at all.
She joined the police force. However, her father kept meddling and using his connections to make sure she stayed
at a desk job and out of danger. She finally had to move states away to get away from him. She's now a private
investigator in Chicago. She’s been given a job to test the security at a museum. She finds it sorely lacking. In fact,
she’d been fantasizing about Mac while she’s on this job, and man on a Harley roars up and openly breaks in the
museum right in front of her. What the hell?! It is Mac! She can’t believe it! He’s here in Chicago, and he’s not
changed at all. Something happens to put them in danger, and he ends up basically kidnapping her to keep her
safe. They begin a cross-country trek that brings them closer together, but also at odds. Mac can’t tell Lily the
truth about himself. He actually work’s for the government. But if he tells her, he compromises his job and the
secret group. She feels that he is on the wrong side of the law still and is doing everything she can to slip away
from him contact the authorities and get away. She’s torn because she’s falling back in love with Mac, but feels
she’s doing the right thing.|Mon avis en Français

My English review
