Préparation :
**Si la préparation n’est pas respectée, l’examen devra être reporté
- Vous devez être à jeun 6h avant l’examen du TEP scan
- Vous avez le droit de boire de l’eau en tout temps et de
prendre votre médication avec eau seulement
- INTERDITS : gomme, café, jus, pastille, sirop de tout
genre et toutes autres boissons ou aliments qui n’est pas
de l’eau.
- Avoir carte d’ass. maladie et d’hôpital du CHUS, sinon
passez a l’admission local 2623 au 2 ième étage
- Avoir un sac pour vos vêtements
- Avoir la liste écrite de vos médicaments
- Vous ne devez pas avoir eu de chimiothérapie dans les
3 sem. précédant le TEP
*Pour un « CD » de votre TEP scan en faire la demande à la Filmothèque
local 2633 au 2ième étage en face à l’admission.
*SI VOUS ÊTES ENCEINTE NOUS AVISER IMMÉDIATEMENT*
Si vous êtes diabétique :
- Vous pouvez prendre vos comprimés
- Si vous prenez de l’insuline :
NE pas prendre le matin sauf sur avis contraire lors
de la prise du rdv.
Preparation to follow for the PET scan :

You have to fast 6 hours before the exam
You are allowed to drink water and take your
medication with water ONLY
- NOT ALLOWED : gum, coffee, juice, cough syrop,
cough drops or cough sweets or anything else that is not
water
- Bring your medicare card and CHUS hospital card, If
you don’t have an hospital card you will have to go to
the admission room 2623 on the main floor (2nd).
- Bring a writhen list of your medication
- Bring a bag for your clothes
- Very important no chemotherapy 3 weeks prior the PET
scan
*If you need a « CD » of your PET scan, you need to go at the Fim library
room 2633 on the main floor (2nd) in front of the admission.
**If you didn’t follow the preparation correctly, we will reschedule a
new appointment
*If you are pregnant, you need to tell us as soon as possible*
If you are diabetic :
- You can take your pills
- If you take insulin :
Don’t take it in the morning, unless we
say otherwise for the appointment
