Open to students entering mining
engineering
Full-time masters students in their first year
of study who are pursuing degrees in metallurgy,
materials engineering or related fields are
eligible for a scholarship. Nominees must have
been MetSoc-CIM members for a period of
at least six months at the time of nomination.
The student is expected to retain his or her
status as a graduate student through to
September of the year for which the
award is being given
Full-time doctoral candidates in their
second, third or fourth years of study who
are pursuing degrees in metallurgy,materials
engineering or related fields are eligible
for a scholarship. Nominees must have
been MetSoc-CIM members for a period of
at least one year at the time of nomination.
Open to mining engineering students in
universities across Canada enrolled full time
in the 2nd year (or 3rd year if in a four-year
program) of an eligible undergraduate

• Oral Presentation – organisation, clarity, timing.
