Mass & the Stations of the Resurrection at Calvary
Join Bishop Marcel on Saturday, June 7th at 10:30
a.m. for an outdoor bilingual Mass at Calvary in Green
Valley. Mass will be followed by the bilingual Stations
of the Resurrection, which complement the Stations of
the Cross and are based on scripturally-recorded
incidents contained in the four Gospels and the Acts of
the Apostles. This event is geared especially to families
and will feature a special Easter egg hunt to mark the
end of the Easter season.

St. Finnan’s Cathedral Family Fun Day
The parishioners of St. Finnan’s Cathedral invite you to join them for Mass followed by their annual Family Fund Day
on Sunday, June 1st. Mass is celebrated at 11:00 a.m. A BBQ lunch will be served from noon to 2:00 p.m. There will
be games, prizes, baked goods for sale, face painting, local entertainers and more. Mass will be in the Cathedral
and all other events will take place across from the Cathedral.
Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School: Our HT Respect for Life team will holding a baby bottle fundraiser from May 12 to June 6th.
Students will be able to register at lunch hour at the “Respect for Life” table to pick up their own bottle to bring home and collect
loose change. All proceeds will benefit Cornwall Prolife for their various projects.
MASS INTENTIONS
Mass intentions refer to the particular purpose for which a specific Mass is offered. This may be to honor God
or thank him for blessings received. But technically a Mass intention means that the sacrifice is offered for
some person(s) living or dead. The intention for which a priest offers a Mass is determined most often, by the
intention of the donor of a Mass stipend, or by the priest's own devotion. An individual may ask a priest to
offer a Mass for several reasons: for example, in thanksgiving, for the intentions of another person (such as on
a birthday), or, as is most common, for the repose of the soul of someone who has died. One must never
forget the infinite graces that flow from the Sacrifice of the Mass which benefit one’s soul.
If you wish to reserve a specific date for a mass intention in 2014 or 2015 calendar year; please do
so as soon as possible. Mass intention can be said for the living as well as for those who have
passed away. The cost for a mass intention is $15.00.

SALESIAN SUMMER DAY CAMP in July (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm). The Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco will organize a fun
summer activities (games, sports, outings, swimming, dance, arts and crafts, reflection) for young people ages 8 to 16. The day camp
is opened from June 30 to July 25 th, at the Catholic Agora Center in Cornwall. Cost is $35.00 each week (cost will go up if you
register after June 18). Registration is on June 3, 10 & 17, from 7 pm to 8 pm at 300 Montreal Road (former Nativity Rectory). For

Ride to the Father… Attention motorcycle enthusiasts come and join us for the 2nd Annual Ride to the Father on Saturday, May
18th -. The day begins at 8:00 a.m. with Mass at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish in Metcalfe. Following Mass, there will be a blessing of
the bikes. The ride begins at 9 am through the county of Glengarry. There will be stops at the St. Raphael’s Ruins and Precious Blood
Church, (where Bishop Marcel will give a short talk.) The ride ends with a BarBQ back in Metcalfe. Pre-Registration is $10 or $15 on
