Planning Your Paris Time
There is an endless list of activities to choose from during your time in PARIS. The following are some suggestions.
Once you have a basic outline, be prepared to change you plan (or have a Plan B) in case the weather doesn’t
cooperate.
Check the master museum document for information on pricing and operation hours. In general, national museums
and monuments are closed on TUESDAYS, except the Musée d’Orsay and Versailles, which are closed on
MONDAYS. The Musée Rodin is also closed on Mondays.
The moment you arrive in Paris, purchase an Officiel des Spectacle or Pariscope for up-to-date information on all
cultural events, museum hours, entrance fees, etc. during the time of you visit. These publications will also show the
movie listings. Note: The Kiosque Théatre offers half-price tickets on the day of performance. These tickets can be
purchase at a ticket booth in the Place de la Madeleine or at a ticket booth in the RER station at Châtelet-Les Halles.
