Call to Prayer for Egypt
It is with great pain and distress that we have received the news of the sectarian tensions and
the burning of the churches in Egypt.
The World Student Christian Federation prays for the victims of the incidents, that God
surround them in God’s mercy and love and bring comfort to their families.
The WSCF also calls the ecumenical youth movements and student Christian movements
around the world, along with all our friends, to hold the youth, and all the people, of Egypt in
their prayers and to stand in solidarity with the Christians of the Middle East.
Prayer
God of Life, creator of the universe, from whom all things come, give your people peace and
security and unity of heart and mind, that all the world may grow in the life of your eternal
kingdom.

Appel à la prière pour l'Egypte
C'est avec grandes douleur et détresse que nous avons reçu des nouvelles à propos des
tensions sectaires et l'incendie des églises en Egypte.
La Fédération Universelle des Associations Chrétiennes d’Etudiants prie pour
les victimes de ces incidents afinque Dieu les entoure de sa miséricorde et de
son amour et qu’Il apporte du réconfort à leurs familles.
La FUACE appelle également les organisations œcuméniques des jeunes ainsi que
les Mouvements d'EtudiantsChrétiens du monde entier, avec tous les amis, de tenir la
jeunesse et tout le peuple Egyptien dans leurs prières et à manifester leur solidarité avec
les chrétiens du Moyen-Orient.

Dieu de la vie, Créateur de l'univers, de qui tout vient, donne à ton peuple la paix, la sécurité et
l'unité de cœur et d'esprit, pour que le monde entier croisse dans la vie de ton royaume
éternel.

Es con gran dolor y la angustia que hemos recibido la noticia acerca de las tensiones sectarias
y la quema de las iglesias en Egipto.
La Federación Universal de Movimientos Estudiantiles Cristianos llama a oración por las víctimas
de los incidentes, que Dios les rodee en su misericordia amor y lleve consuelo a sus familias.
La FUMEC también llama a los movimientos juveniles ecuménicos y movimientos de estudiantes
cristianos de todo el mundo, junto con todos nuestros amigos, para mantener a la juventud y
todo el pueblo de Egipto en sus oraciones y solidaridad con los cristianos de Oriente Medio.
