In lO normal subjects ISD caused pupillary dilatation,
the effect of lO0 _g by mouth being greater than t_t of
50 _g. LSD had a significantly greater effect on the
constricted pupil than on the dilated pupil.

Chlcrpromazine
produced pupillary constriction,
the
effect of a high dose being greater than that of a low dose.
Meperidine
had little effect.
Secobarbital
had no effect.
The degree of probability that the individual] variations
in pupillary response were not accidental agreed exactly
with the descending order of potency on the pupil: LSD,
chlorpromazine,
meperidine
and secobarbital.

Subjects exhibiting a great effect after LSD tended
to show relatively little effect after chlorpromazine,
and
vice versa.

Chlorpromazin bewirkte Pupillenverengerung. Die Wirkung einer hohen Dosis war grSsser als die einer kleinen.
Meperidin war wenig und Secobarbital gar nicht wirksam.
Der Grad der Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die bei den einzelnen Versuchspersonen unter Pharmakoneinfluss beobachteten
Pupillen/nde_Ingen nicht zufallsbedingt waren, nahm genau
entsprechend der Pupillenwirksamkeit der _Littel ab: LSD
Chlorpromazin _ _leperidin _ Secobarbital.
Personen, die auf LSD stark reagierten, waren gegenGber
Chlorpromazin verh_ltnism_ssig wenig empfindlich und umgekehrt.
