b The Finfarine Dam
The first man-made lake was
created at the end of the 19th
Century. Its purpose was to provide drinking water to the area.
La Ch In 1909 the volume supplied
was increased and in 1934 the
dam at Finfarine was built on
the Payré stream. Now because
of this dam, 500,000 m3 of water can be stored.
