What is it about ?
The traffic permit is mandatory for each
voyage on the Walloon waterways. It is
generally issued by the first computerized office
met in the course of the journey.
From now on, it is possible to announce
one’s voyage on the Internet. This procedure
speeds up and simplifies the passing on of the
data required to obtain the traffic permit.

Registration and user data
The user enters his personal contact
information.He then receives a user name, based
on his surname and forename, as well as a
password.
He fills in a registration form for the
ship(s) he wishes to announce.
These data can be modified at any
moment.
Who is it meant for ?
The charterers, freight forwarders,
skippers, cargo handlers, shipping companies
or any other company making use of the
Walloon inland waterways.
When ?
The input of the announcement must
occur before the departure, for each ship and
each voyage.
The announcement number enables the
shipper to obtain the traffic permit without
having to take any other administrative steps.

Entering an announcement
After identification, the user enters the
data pertaining to the voyage concerned :

- Expected date of departure ;
- MET-number of the boat (information at the
offices of issue whose list is on the site) ;
- Data concerning the goods (tonnage, type,
loaded or empty containers, data about
dangerous goods, passengers) ;
- Ports of departure, destination and possible
stops.
