The electrodes are connected depending on the specific muscles to
be treated. The electrodes have virtually zero resistance which gives
exceptionally comfortable stimulation and more sensitive EMG biofeedback. The Optima 3 permits stimulation and biofeedback of the
whole of the levator ani elevator branch, of the sphincter branch,
of the deep ischiococcygeous lateral branch (especially to treat a
pudendal neuralgia syndrome), stimulation and biofeedback for
asymmetry, calming stimulation of the scar for dyspareunia.
Introduce the probe into the vagina with the electrodes towards the
back so that the bladder is not stimulated as the electrodes will not
face upwards. To treat asymmetry, rotate the probe – left or right
– by turning the probe so that the rings face in just one direction.

Placer la sonde dans le vagin avec les électrodes vers le bas
de manière à ne pas stimuler vers le haut (vessie, col vésical,
utérus) grâce à la discontinuité des électrodes. En cas de BFB
on peut enregistrer les zones musculaires latérales – droite et
gauche – en plaçant la sonde avec les électrodes continues du
côté à enregistrer.
