to the so uth and east (private garden), having o penings with triple glass using so lar radiatio n in winter, and o verhangs and
adjustable blinds that co ntro l the radiatio n during summer. A ve nt ilat io n system as a single dual f lo w suppo rt serves fo r
co o ling and heating the inside. The architectural pro po sal wants to be so ber in simple shapes and finishes, but with high
perfo rmance and enviro nmental quality. It also has a pro t e ct io n system fro m e le ct ro m agne t ic wave s, integrated in the
co ating o f lime mo rtar, under the ceramic co ver in the to ps o f windo ws and thro ugh special plaster bo ards in the bedro o ms.

Dé m arche dé ve lo ppe m e nt durable du m aît re d'o uvrage : Custo mers wanted a so ber ho use in simple shapes and
finishes, but beautiful and with high perfo rmance and enviro nmental quality. They wanted a ho me with an energy co nsumptio n
o f zero o r almo st zero , with Passivhaus standard, and built with bio co nstructio n and lo cal pro ductio n materials as much as
po ssible, and with a pro tectio n system o f electro magnetic radiatio n. The lifestyle o f the future o ccupants and the wo rld they
wo uld want to leave their children have been the main so urce o f inspiratio n fo r the pro ject.
De script io n archit e ct urale : It is a ho use o f rectangular plant in a triangular site, with main facade to the so uth o nto the
garden and back to the no rth facade, co nnected to the access ro ad.
The plant is o rganized into fo ur pillars and structural bays o f wo o den beams perpendicular to the main façade, giving the pace
o f ho using space set. Parallel to the main facade, the ho using is o rganized into two spaces: the so uth, which is wider and
integrates the main areas o f ho using, and the no rth, which is narro wer and o rganizes access and co re ho using services.
On the gro und flo o r o ne finds the main units o f the ho using and is planned so that every day life takes place o nly in that plant.
All o penings to so uth and east co nnect with the o utside o f the ho use, pro viding permeability between inside and o utside. The
large po rch to the so uth acts as an intermediate space between them.
The gro und flo o r has a large central wo rk space, a bathro o m and two bedro o ms at the ends. The 3 main spaces are
co nnected by a large deck to so uth terrace. Vo lumetrically, ho using is co nceived as a single vo lume and a single inclined
co ver o f a single plane. The first flat terrace is integrated in this vo lume and the gro und flo o r is pro po sed as an independent
structure to the so uth added to the vo lume.
In sho rt, a ho use that wants to be co nsistent with itself and with its inhabitants: so ber in simple shapes and finishes, but built
with maximum energy and enviro nmental rigo r.
