Private Art Kirchberg 2014 unveils Mudam’s “Coups de cœur”
The sixth Private Art Kirchberg event will be held on Sunday 28 September 2014. The 11 participating
institutions will invite the public to discover or revisit treasures from their private collections, as well
as temporary exhibits currently on show.
Both the curious and genuine art lovers will thus have the opportunity to discover not just paintings
photographic images and works on paper, but also videos and sculptures as well as examples of art
in architecture which are not normally accessible to the public.
Enrico Lunghi, director of Mudam, has chosen a special favourite – a photograph,
painting, sculpture or video – from each participating institution. Every favourite
– or “coup de coeur” – has something special that has caught Mr Lunghi’s
practised eye. They will be prominently displayed so that visitors can discover
them when touring each institution.
As a special guest at Private Art Kirchberg for the second year running, Mudam is fully involved in the
event and will be open to the public free of charge on 28 September.
