Fundraiser – OLDE TYME LUNCHEON AND AUCTION
We will be holding a fundraising event for the research centre, Généalogie et
archives Saint-Laurent, on Sunday, November 27th, 2011, from 11 am to 2 pm
at 124 Anthony St, Cornwall. It will consist of a hearty meal: meat pie & gravy,
potatoes, baked beans, pickles, apple or sugar pie, tea, coffee. Cost: adults
$8.00, children $6.00. A pie sale, an auction and nice musical entertainment will

The Daughters of Isabella, Notre-Dame-des-Ss-Martyrs # 1359, will be hosting a

The Diocesan Book Club has enjoyed two successful evenings of discussion. Below is a
list of books we will be delving into over the next 6 months. Pick up your copies today at

Advent Evening Prayer : Liturgy of the Hours Evening Prayer will
be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Parish church each Sunday in Advent at
5:30 PM, beginning on Sunday, November 27th, 2011. Everyone is invited
to come and join us as we pause from the demands of our everyday
living to take time and pray together in community. What a fitting way to
prepare ourselves to celebrate the gift of Christmas!
