Leconceptdebasepourletraitementdel'effluentacide
des tuyères laveuses humidesest de le mélanger avec de
l’eau refroidie des unités adjacentes. L'effluent combiné
est alors aéré et rejeté à la mer par un chenal ouvert. Le
butestd’êtreconformeauxconditionslégalesdel'autorité environnementale d'état (SCENR) où l'effluent provenantdelafonderiedoitatteindreleslimitessuivantesde

ThePlantwillhaveatotalcapacityof585000tonnesper
yearfromtwopotlines.
The Plant will consist of four fume treatment plants made of dry
scrubberunits(aluminascrubbing)toremovefluoridesanddust,and
seawater scrubbers to remove SO2. The base concept for the treatment of the acidic effluent from the wet scrubbers is to mix it with
coolingwaterfromadjacentsPlants.
The combined effluent is then aerated and discharged to the sea
through an open channel. The goal is to be in compliance with the
legalrequirementsofthestateenvironmentalauthority(SCENR)where the effluent from the smelter shall meet the following discharge
limits:pH>6,DO(Dissolvedoxygen)>2mg/l
