NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE 2015 – Balard (75) Private wireless network communication solution EXPRESSION OF NEEDS The company Bouygues Bâtiment Ile de France (Public Works) commissioned Axione to implement a private wireless network communication system for the new headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Balard). What was requested of us: - Commitment to achieving indoor coverage of 98% or more - High service availability through redundancy - Tracking of portable radio sets - Retransmission of security networks (ACROPOL/INPT) Axione's solution Key facts and figures Client Bouygues Bâtiment IDF (Ouvrages Publics) Axione's proposal was a solution based on the TETRA standard, which enables radio users to communicate between themselves, as well as enabling group calls. This technology facilitates and simplifies the management of lone workers ('man down' alarm), making it possible to locate staff in order to intervene and comply with LSA recommendations (response and recovery times).
