RÈGLES
La régate sera régie par :
- les règles telles que définies dans les Règles de Course à la Voile
2013-2016 (RCV), incluant l’annexe E,
- le système de course HMS,
- les règlements fédéraux,
- les prescriptions nationales traduites pour les concurrents étrangers
(précisées en annexe).

RULES
The race will be governed by:
- The rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2013-2016
(RRS) including RRS Appendix E,
- The HMS,
- Federal regulations,
- French Prescriptions translated for foreign competitors (appendix
attached).
Modifications des RCV
- La RCV E2.1(b) est supprimée.
- La RCV E.8(b)(3) est modifiée comme suit : « Quand le numéro de
voile est dans la fourchette « 00 » à « 09 », l’initiale « 0 » pourra être
supprimée et le chiffre restant devra être positionné de façon à laisser
un espace pour à la fois un préfixe et un suffixe ».
- La RCV E6.6(f) est modifiée comme suit : supprimer les mots « …et
donc en abandonnant … ».
- La RCV E4.2(2) est modifiée comme suit : ajouter les mots « le pilote
du bateau de récupération désigné par l’organisateur n’est pas
considéré comme une aide extérieure ».
Changes to RRS
- RRS E2.1(b) is deleted.
- RRS E.8(b)(3) is changed to: ‘When the sail number is in the range
‘00’ to ‘09’, the initial ‘0’ may be omitted and the remaining digit
shall be positioned to allow space for both a prefix and a suffix’.
En cas de conflit dans la traduction de cet avis de course, le texte français
prévaudra.
In case of conflict between languages, the French text of this notice of race
shall prevail.
-
RRS E6.6(f) is changed as follows suppress the words “and as a result
retiring…”.
RRS 4.2(2) is changed as follows : add the words “the rescue boat
driver named by the organizer will not be considered as external help”.

En application de la Régulation 20 de World Sailing (Code de Publicité), telle
que modifiée par le règlement de publicité de la FFVoile, les bateaux sont
tenus de porter la publicité choisie et fournie par l’autorité organisatrice.
DROITS À PAYER
Les droits d’inscription sont de 85€. Pour information, cela comprend
l’inscription (60€) et le repas des skippers du 11 novembre 2016 (25€). Des
repas du midi optionnels avec plat chaud (12€) sont à réserver avec
l’inscription.

 10 novembre à 18h30 : Cérémonie d’ouverture du championnat
 11 novembre à 19h : Assemblée générale de l’association de classe
 12 novembre à 19h30 (salle de la Combe) : Repas des skippers
 13 novembre après les courses : Remise des prix

 9 novembre 14h30 – 17h00 : entraînement
 10 novembre 2016 à 12h : Affichage au tableau officiel des flottes
de la 1ère course établies par le programme HMS, à partir du
classement national de la FFVoile au 25 novembre 2015.
 10 novembre13h00 – 1er signal d’avertissement - Flottes à suivre
 11 novembre10h00 – 1er signal d’avertissement - Flottes à suivre

Chaque jour, un briefing des coureurs sera effectué 15’ avant le 1er signal
d’avertissement.
Le dimanche 13 novembre, il ne sera pas donné de signal d’avertissement

pour une nouvelle course après 13h00.


Les instructions de course et les annexes éventuelles seront disponibles sur le
site Internet de l’épreuve et seront affichées au tableau officiel.

ADVERTISING
In application of World Sailing’s Regulation 20 (Advertising Code), as
amended by FFVoile Advertising Regulation, boats shall display advertising
selected and supplied by the organising authority.
ENTRY FEES
Entry fees of 85€ per competitor. For information, they include the registration
fee (60€) and the skippers’ dinner on 11 November 2016 (25€). Reservation
for optional lunches with hot dish (12€ ea.) have to be made with registration.

based on the national ranking from the FFVoile, as of 25 November 2015

A Competitors briefing will take place 15’ before the 1st warning signal every
day.

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing instructions and any appendices will be posted on the event website
and on the official board.

CONTRÔLE DE JAUGE ET IDENTIFICATION DES ÉQUIPEMENTS
Préalablement à la confirmation de l’inscription, chaque concurrent devra
présenter le certificat de jauge du bateau qu’il utilisera et faire marquer
l’ensemble du matériel susceptible d’être utilisé pendant l’épreuve
conformément aux règles de classe (tampon indélébile propre à l’épreuve). Les
concurrents devront présenter tout le matériel (coque, quille, lest, safran,
voiles) propre et sec.
Le matériel sera contrôlé avant le début de la compétition. Des contrôles de
jauge pourront être effectués à l’issue de chaque flotte.
LIEU
L’épreuve se déroulera au plan d’eau de la Grande Prairie, 16710 Saint Yrieix,
près d’Angoulême.
SYSTÈME DE COURSE ET CLASSEMENT
Le Heat Management System sera utilisé.
Le nombre de courses validées pour valider l’épreuve est de 4.
SYSTÈME DE PÉNALITÉ
L’addendum Q, Arbitrage direct des courses en flotte pour bateaux
radiocommandés, s’appliquera et sera joint aux instructions de course.
RADIO
Les concurrents doivent s’assurer que leur matériel de radiocommande est
conforme aux règles édictées par l’administration.
Pour les fréquences autres que 2.4 Ghz, le bulletin d’inscription devra
mentionner quatre (4) fréquences, qui devront être disponibles pendant
l’épreuve.
PRIX
Le vainqueur de l’épreuve recevra le titre de champion(ne) de France de la
classe Marblehead.
Les trois premiers du classement général recevront respectivement une
médaille d’or, d’argent et de bronze.
Le titre de champion 2016 AFCM sera attribué au premier licencié FFVoile.
Des prix de participation seront attribués à tous les compétiteurs.

MEASUREMENT CHECKS AND EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION
Prior to the confirmation of registration, every competitor shall present the
valid class certificate of the boat to be sailed et have marked (permanent
marking specific to the event) all the equipment that could be used during the
event in accordance with class rules. All the equipment (hull, fin, ballast,
rudder, sails) shall be clean and dry.
Equipment will be checked before the competition starts. Measurement checks
could be performed after each heat.
VENUE
The event will take place at plan d’eau de la Grande Prairie, 16710 Saint
Yrieix, near Angoulême FRANCE
SCORING AND RACING SYSTEM
Heat Management System will be used.
4 races must be completed to validate the championship.
PENALTY SYSTEM
Addendum Q “Umpired Fleet Racing” will be used and will be attached to the
Sailing Instructions.
RADIO
Competitors must ensure that their radio equipment complies with official
regulations.
For frequencies other than 2.4 Ghz, a minimum of four (4) frequencies shall be
stated in the entry form and be available at the event.
PRIZES
The winner of the event will be declared “Champion de France de la classe
Marblehead.
Medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) will be awarded to the first 3 positions
according to the final results.
The first FFVoile affiliated will receive the Trophy awarded by the French M
NCA be declared Champion 2016 AFCM.
Attendance awards will be given to all competitors

DÉCISION DE COURIR
La décision d’un concurrent de participer à une course ou de rester en course
relève de sa seule responsabilité. En conséquence, en acceptant de participer à
la course ou de rester en course, le concurrent décharge l’autorité organisatrice
de toute responsabilité en cas de dommage (matériel et/ou corporel).

DECISION TO RACE
The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue
racing is hers alone. Consequently, accepting to participate in a race or to
continue racing, the competitor disclaims the organizing authority of any
liability for damage (material and/or personal injury).
DROIT D’UTILISER LE NOM ET L’IMAGE
En participant à cette épreuve, le concurrent autorise automatiquement les
organisateurs et les sponsors de l’épreuve à utiliser et montrer, à quelque
moment que ce soit, des photos en mouvement ou statiques, des films ou
enregistrement télévisuels et autres reproductions de lui-même ou de son
bateau, pendant la période de la compétition intitulé « Championnat de France
Classe M», à laquelle le concurrent participe et à utiliser sans compensation,
son image sur tous matériaux liés à la dite épreuve.

RIGHT TO USE NAME AND IMAGE
Taking part in this race, the competitor gives the organization and the race’s
sponsors the right to use and show at any time static or moving pictures, films
or TV recording and all sorts of duplication of himself or his boat during the
« French Marblehead Championship ». He also gives right to use, without
royalties, his own image on all material supports of such event.

APPENDIX FFVoile PRESCRIPTIONS
FFVoile Prescriptions to RRS 2013 – 2016 translated for foreign competitors
RRS 64.3 (*):
Jury may ask the parties to the protest, prior to checking procedures, a deposit covering the cost of
checking arising from a measurement protest.
RRS 67 (*):
Any claim for damages arising from an incident involving a boat bound by the RRS shall be subject to
the appropriate courts and will not be considered by the jury.
RRS 70. 5 (*):
In such circumstances, the written approval of the FFVoile shall be received before publishing the
notice of race and shall be posted on the official notice board during the competition.
RRS 86.3 (*):
An organizing authority wishing to change a rule listed in RRS 86.1 in order to develop or test new
rules shall beforehand submit the changes to the FFVoile, in order to obtain its written approval and
shall report the results to FFVoile after the regatta. The authorization of the FFVoile shall be
mentioned in the notice of race, in the sailing instructions, and shall be posted on the official notice
board during the regatta.
RRS 88 (*):
Prescriptions of the FFVoile shall be neither changed nor deleted in the sailing instructions, except for
competitions for which an international jury has been appointed.
In such case, the prescriptions marked with an asterisk (*) shall be neither changed nor deleted in the
sailing instructions. (The official translation of the prescriptions, downloadable on the FFVoile
website www.ffvoile.org, shall be the only translation used to comply with RRS 90.2(b)).
RRS 91 (*):
The appointment of an international jury meeting the requirements of Appendix N is subject to prior
written approval of the FFVoile. Such notice of approval shall be posted on the official notice board
during the event.
