Oliver Rothschild is a corporate
strategist, active within a range of
industries and commercial enterprises.
He holds a diverse portfolio of
business interests, as well as advising
the
commercial
environment,
charitable community and more
recently, eco-friendly systems. He
speaks on a variety of subjects, from
leadership to globalisation of the
economic and social scenarios.

entrepreneurship
and
charitable
organisations and foundations. He is
Co-Founder and President of the Asia
Environmental Innovation Forum, and
recently has been appointed as the
UK representative to UNECE. Oliver
previously served as the Chairman of UNICEF (Appeals Committee) and
holds the post of President of ACEVO (the trading arm), the leading
association of voluntary and charitable Chief Executive Officers.
He is the Chairman of Innovation Warehouse (Advisory Board) and, the
Chairman of the Sustainable Business Forum. Amongst his other charitable
and NGO interests, he is the Patron of Football for Peace, Flying Angels
Foundation, DiversityUK, 2StudyFoundation, Where Ever the Need, Tiny
Tickers and the Anna Fiorentini Theatre and Arts School. He is a Trustee of
Centric Community Projects, Ambassador for TCV, City Gateway, British
Trust Conservation Volunteers and Jeans for Genes, also formerly member
of a leading London theatre. Additionally, he is the Patron emeritus of
Foodcycle and Chairman Emeritus of TVE Global Awards at BAFTA.
Oliver began his career consulting in the hotel, restaurant and leisure
industries. As Founder and Principal of Buchler Rothschild, he helped build
the firm's investment portfolio covering real estate, IT, entertainment, media,
PR, fine art and antiques. He was former Chairman of Grosvenor Travel
PLC, Senior Vice President of American General Investments and Director
of a London auction house.
Following Buchler Rothschild, Oliver Rothschild Corporate Advisors was
founded, the corporate strategy and corporate governance advisory firm.
He is the Non-Executive Chairman of ADVentura Capital StudentTutors,
StudentFunder, GILD International, TergoPower, Astelios and Globomass
Holdings and Ncube. Oliver Rothschild was formerly Chairman of the
Carbon Advice Group, the Tripleplay Group of Companies and NED
Solutions (associated with the Institute of Directors).
Media involvement includes presenting programmes for the BBC and
Channel 4 and co-production of a BBC series. He is also Ambassador for
the Monaco International Film Festival.
He is an international speaker and has been invited to deliver keynotes at
some of the most influential Forums and Conferences, topics ranging from
Business and Investment, Innovation, to Climate Change, Sustainability
and Philanthropy, in various cities in the UK, Europe and further afield.

He is a renowned judge for early campaigns and many University national
and international competitions.
Given his substantial, indigenous and international business experience,
Oliver is frequently asked to judge various entrepreneurship competitions
such as: the UK-Italy Awards, the Finals of the Venture Capital
International Competition, Google Campus’s Lions Den, and the HSBC
Global Connections Competition.
