This course aims to give students basic knowledge to understand
the European Competition Law, its impact on the behavior of
firms and its influence in the world.
- Read and understand the leading cases of European
competition law (antitrust rules and merger control)
- Understand the economic theories underlying antitrust rules
- Read and understand european regulations about
competition law
- Compare EU Law and US Law as regards to antitrust

This course presents the rules of the European Union applied to
business relationships and the way international companies adapt
their business strategies to meet these rules. Antitrust Law,
Mergers control in the EU will be mostly discussed.
