1 Généralités
Cet adaptateur permet avec une interface ESAO 4 de mesurer
- la forme d’un signal sonore.
- l’intensité d’un signal sonore en Décibel dB(A) entre 40 et 110 dB(A).
Un microphone à électret intégré permet les prises de sons.
Le potentiomètre de réglage sert à modifier l‘amplitude en mode signal.
2 Utilisation
2.1 Système ESAO
Cet adaptateur fonctionne
avec une interface ESAO4 ISA

• une console ESAO 4
ou
avec une interface ESAO4 PCI

• une console ESAO 4

2.2 Mise en service

Vérifier que la console est bien reliée au PC.
Allumer l'ordinateur.
Connecter l'adaptateur sur la console ESAO.
2.3 Connexion de l'adaptateur sur la console ESAO
L'adaptateur se connecte à l'aide du connecteur situé sur la face arrière du
boîtier :

Tenir le boîtier horizontalement.
Suivre les rainures de guidage de la console ESAO.
Engager bien à fond.
L’adaptateur est alors reconnu immédiatement par votre logiciel.
2.4 Précautions d’emploi
Ne pas immerger le microphone.
3 Reconnaissance logiciel
Si vous utilisez une version de nos logiciels précédant le capteur, il est
nécessaire de paramétrer l’utilitaire de gestion des adaptateurs de votre
logiciel afin que celui-ci soit reconnu.
Paramétrer le numéro 55 comme indiqué ci-dessous :

1 General
Using an ESAO 4 interface, this adaptor allows measuring:
- the form of a sound signal
- the intensity of a sound signal in Decibels dB(A) between 40 and 110 dB(A)
An integral electrets-foil microphone allows recording sounds
The adjustment potentiometer is used to modify the amplitude in signal mode.
2 Use

2.2 Bringing into service

Check the console is correctly connected to the PC
Switch on the computer
Connect the adaptor to the ESAO console
2.3 Connection of the adaptor to the ESAO console
The adaptor is connected using the connector on the rear panel of the unit:

Hold the unit horizontally
Follow the guide grooves of the ESAO console
Push home fully
The adaptor is immediately recognised by your software.
2.4 Use precautions
Do not submerge the microphone.
3 Software recognition
If you are using a version of our software which pre-dates the sensor, the
adaptor management utility in your software must be parametered so it is
recognised.
Parameter the number 55 as indicated below:
