Sébastien Le Corroller est coiffeur nomade, estampillé breton.
Il commence en salon à Paris à 16 ans. Sa maitrise de la coupe
l’emmène rapidement à enseigner à travers le monde. À 23 ans
il fait la rencontre de Julien D’ys qu’il assistera pendant une
année et commence sa carrière en studio.
Il oriente son travail sur une recherche de matières et de formes.
Fan de rock des années 70 et collectionneur de vinyls et de
bouquins, son travail s’appuie sur une iconographie très pointue et une soif de culture très large, à travers la photographie ,le
cinéma ,l’art ,l’architecture ou encore le design tout est source
d’inspiration.
Il a travaillé avec les photographes: Katerina Jeb, Erwin Olaf,
Peter Lindberg, Paolo Roversi, Sarah Moon, Deborah Turbeville, Olivier Zahm, Olivia Bee, Edouard Plongeon, Arnaud Pyvka, Alexei Hay.
Plus récemment: Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Harley Weir, Gregory
Derken, Lea Colombo, Steve Hiett.
Il collabore à des magazines tels que: Vogue, Pop, Holiday,
Numéro, Harper’s Bazaar, Purple, Double, M Le Monde, Elle,
Marie Claire, Tank, V Magazine, L’Offciel, Jalouse.
Il prend soin des cheveux de Rooney Mara, Gisele Bündchen, Lily Allen, Marina Hands, Lou Doillon,
Tilda Swinton, Marianne Faithful, Anna Mouglalis, Marine Vacth, Clémence Poesy, Gaspar Ulliel, Bénoit
Magimel, Tahar Rahim, Gonzales.
Il a collaboré étroitement aux cotés de Rei Kawakubo pour les défilés Comme des Garçons hommes pendant plusieurs années ainsi qu’avec Véronique Nichanian pour Hermès, Guillaume Henri pour Carven,
Christophe Lemaire et Yasmine Eslami.
Il travaille aussi avec des marques prestigieuses tel que Chanel et Givenchy.

Sébastien was born in Paris, where he still works within the
field of hair-styling that has been his true passion since the age
of 16.
Starting his career in a salon, Sebastien advances to the level
of training other stylists and travels all over the world to teach
specialist skills. At 24 he begins to assist Julien d’Ys in the studio, which provides him with the perfect opportunity to excercise his creativity and sense of style.
His work is based in creating shapes and volumes that reflect
the natural material of the hair whilst working closely with the
photographer and art direction to produce an aesthetic that becomes a coherent part of the story.
Sébastien recalls traditional methods and brings to the project
his research within imagary; be it photographic, architectural or
film. He juxtaposes this historical reference with his current observations from the street in order to produce a contemporary
look.
