and booking at least one year in advance. A Marriage
preparation course is required.

Gallana, sister of Virginia (Jerry) Lemay. May they
rest in peace and may God comfort the families.

unshakeable peace; we discover and trust
our deepest desires; the impossible becomes possible;
others affirm God’s grace in us; and finally an
unmistakable joy gives us that sign that God is with us.

Children’s Bulletins: The parish offers
monthly bulletins in French & English for
children ages 3-7. There are plenty of
activities both on paper and online to
keep your child/grandchild busy through the summer
months and for the whole year, while reinforcing the
weekly gospel message. Cost is $20/year to cover
mailing fees and will also give you the online access
requirements. If you are interested, contact our
Pastoral Minister, Rebecca Bondy, at the parish office to
make arrangements.
Bulletins pour les enfants de 3-7 ans: Inscrivez votre

River Canard Bridge Closure!
Beginning on
Monday, June 6 , River Canard Bridge will be closed for
repairs until Labour Day. There will be a pedestrian/
bicycle pathway available across the bridge, but no
vehicle access. Your patience during this work is
appreciated.

Summer Vacation Time! Before
you leave for your vacation, why not
contact Yvonne at the parish office to
set up Pre-Authorized Debit? This
would help us greatly since our
expenses remain the same regardless
of the number of parishioners on vacation. Donations
are appreciated even when you are away!
The Altar Server BBQ will be held next
Sunday, June 12th starting at noon. Please
RSVP by TODAY, Sunday, June 5th to
Rebecca. You can leave a message on the
office answering machine. It will be a great time, so
don’t miss it!
New altar servers are reminded of a practice after
the 11am Mass on June 5th.
A memorial mass for Fr. Vince Gleeson will be
celebrated on Saturday, June 18th, at St. Alphonsus
Church at 12:30pm. All are welcome to participate in
this celebration of his life. Free parking is available in
the city lot next to the church until 3:30pm.

Memorial Bricks: If you ordered a
memorial brick in the last few months it is
now installed in the front walkway of the
church. If you’d like to order a brick, it makes a great
graduation gift. Leaves & stones for the Tree of Life are
also available. Contact the office for more information.

St. Vincent de Paul: In today’s Gospel
we see how Jesus was moved with pity.
When you reach out to help the poor they
know that “God has visited them.” Hunger
never takes a holiday. How wonderful it
would be if each family bought one extra item each
week to share with the less fortunate! Try buying
something this week: pasta, cereal and peanut butter
are always needed. Thank you! Merci!
