Operation principle
Under the effect of both the sun and the outside temperature, a
heat transfer occurs : the water passing through the POLYSUN
panels heats up.
Heated water goes up in the system till the storage tank while
cold water comes down to the solar panels.

The natural circulation starts and there is no need of regulation :
•Due to the chemical properties of the collectors, the panels temperature and therefore the water inside
never exceeds 93°C.
•When the tank temperature is equal to the water temperature passing through the Polysun panels,
the natural cycle stops.
The heat exchange inside the storage tank is occuring neither with
heat exchanger or double wall, it is a 100% direct heat transfer
from the solar panels to the tank.
Thanks to the thermal panels characteristics made of
polypropylene, the domestic water passing through them
remains clean, potable and without any limestone deposit.
For a correct performance of the system :
1) The panels have to be set with a gradiant of 10° from the ground.
2)The storage tank has to be placed above the solar panels, around 20 to 30 centimeters from the ground.
The tank and the solar panels must be fixed on a flat and stable surface that is not subjected to oscillation and vibration ; this area should easily support
the total weight of the installation.

It is necessary to provide the system with
• An approved and compulsory safety valve set at 6 bar.
• An expansion tank precharged at 2 - 2,5 bar with a capacity proportional to the tank volume.
• A pressure regulator at the entry of the system if the pressure of the hydraulic system exceeds 2,5 bar.

Tank dimensions can also be modified. The range of our products can be extended until a maximal capacity of 20.000 liters.
