1. English Rhymes
- 10 Nos. App. (Listen, Enjoy, Repeat and Show action)
2. English Alphabets
- Capitals (26), Small letters (26) – Identify, Read and learn the
strokes in a methodical way.
3. Converse, Talk, Interact and narrate stories in both English and Tamil
4. Identify numbers upto 100 – read and say aloud, learn by heart in sequence.
5. Write numbers upto 50.
6. Identify shapes, colours, flowers, fruits, animals, birds, body parts, pictures, photos and
surrounding materials in English and Tamil.
Class : UKG
1. English Rhymes

2. English Alphabets
- Capitals (26), Small letters (26) – Identify, Read and learn the

3. Introduction to two letter words and rhyming words, Sound words, Vowels etc.
4. Write alphabets in cursive and frame small words.
5. Converse, Talk, Interact and narrate stories in both English and Tamil. Tell rhymes and
make own stories with given situation and do role play.
6. Identify numbers upto 200 – read and say aloud, learn by heart in sequence.
7. Write numbers upto 100.
8. Identify shapes, colours, flowers, fruits, animals, birds, body parts, pictures, photos and
surrounding materials in English and Tamil.
9. Do free hand drawing and colours. Do some creative activities with given play materials.
10. Enact, dance and sing with the peer group.

Story Telling :
A flying Ostrich
“Walking makes me tired. All birds fly. I am a bird too. Why
can’t I fly?” The ostrich thought. But the ostrich could not
take off. So, it took an umbrella. It opened the umbrella and
held it high above his head. An ostrich flying! After sometime
the wind dropped. The ostrich gently floated down. It reached
the ground safely.
Written work: A to Z (Capitals),
a to z (cursive)
Numbers : 1 to 100 (learning and reading aloud)
Written : 1 to 50 (numerals only)
Nature study: Human body parts, Flowers, Vegetables and Animals

Story telling in Tamil – any known story with action

Note: The above are only the information for the parents about what the children are doing in the
school. Nothing is mandatory as per the modern concept of Montessori training. More importance
will be given for activity based learning in the school.
Parents are warned not to force the children to learn any of the above at home. Make them feel
easy about all the above. Concentrate more on their health, good habits and regularity. We
guarantee you that the school will take care of their academics. Do not compare your child with any
others – for God’s sake!
