Les trépans permettent de réaliser des prélèvements osseux en vue d’une greffe
autogène. Ils sont munis de dents affutées afin d’augmenter l’efficacité de coupe pour
réaliser un traitement atraumatique. Les ouvertures facilitent l’évacuation du
prélèvement. Les repères de profondeurs permettent de contrôler aisément
l’enfouissement du trépan. Les Ø intérieurs et extérieurs indiqués sur le manche
correspondent aux diamètres du trépan. Le trépan est monté sur un contre angle
permettant d’atteindre la vitesse de rotation préconisée. Fabrication en acier inoxydable.
Précautions d’utilisation :
Il est impératif de respecter les étapes de nettoyage, désinfection et stérilisation avant la
première utilisation ou lors d’une réutilisation.
Avant chaque utilisation, vérifier l’état du trépan et plus particulièrement des dents.
L’utilisation d’une loupe est recommandée. Les trépans présentant des dents tordues ou
émoussées doivent être jetés.
Vérifier la tenue de la liaison mécanique du trépan avec le contre angle en mettant en
rotation. Vitesse de rotation recommandée : 500 à 800 t/min
Nous recommandons l’utilisation d’une irrigation externe pendant l’acte chirurgical pour
limiter les risques d’échauffement.
Nettoyage :
Éliminer soigneusement tous les résidus postopératoires (sang, os…).
Immerger les trépans dans des produits de nettoyage adaptés. Respecter les modes
d’emploi du fabricant.
Rincer, puis sécher les trépans aussitôt après le nettoyage.
Stérilisation sous sachet thermo soudé. Autoclavage à 134°C durant 18 min.
Stockage en atmosphère sèche.
Durée de vie :
Elle est déterminée par le risque de dommage causé par l’utilisation et par le degré
d’usure (voir précautions d’utilisation ci­dessus). La durée de vie théorique est
estimée à 3 ans hors utilisation

The trephines are used to make osseous takings with the aim of an autogenous
transplant.
They are provided with sharpened blades to increase the cutting efficiency to realize
a non-traumatic treatment. The evacuation of the taking is facilitated by the lights.
The depth marks make it possible to control easily the drilling depth of the trephine.
The inner and outer diameters indicated on the shank correspond to the diameters
of the trephine. The trephine has to be used on a contra angle to reach the
recommended rotation speed. The trephines are manufactured in stainless steel.
Using advices:
It is essential to follow the steps of cleaning, disinfection and sterilization before first
use or for a reuse.
Before use, check the level of wear of the trephine and more particularly the blades.
The use of a magnifying glass is recommended. The trephines with bent or blunt
teeth must be thrown away. Check the grip of the trephine by testing the rotation.
Recommended rotation speed: 500 to 800 rpm. We recommend the use of an
external irrigation during the surgery to reduce the risk of overheating.
Cleaning:
Remove carefully all the postoperative residues (blood, bone …)
Immerse the trephines in suitable cleaning solutions. Apply the directions for use of
the manufacturer. Rinse, and then dry the trephines immediately after the cleaning
process.
Sterilization under thermo welded bags. Autoclave at 134°C for 18 minutes.
Store in a dry atmosphere.
Life span:
It is determined by the risk of damage caused by the use and by the degree of wear
(see precautions of use above). The theoretical life span is estimated at 3 years,
use excluded.
