Une collaboration enrichissante
A new tradition has been established for
LEARNʼs online staff and students – the
all-school Twitter chat! Approximately
once a month, all of our staff and
students get onto Twitter and chat, using
the #lqchat hashtag. We model good use
of social media, we build our community,
and we have fun. You can see part of our
last chat here:

Students need to learn how to examine
difficult topics. Our upcoming web event:
Exploring the Holocaust with Secondary
Students will give you tools and
strategies to tackle this tough issue with
your students. Jaqueline Celemencki of
the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre
and Carmen Woolgar, a teacher from
Heritage Regional High School, will
share their expertise with you.

23 mars 2015. Un avant-gout du 35e
congrès de lʼAQEFLS en avril.

LEARN is sending 5 lucky students on
a week-long adventure to Encounters
with Canada in Ottawa. The students
were chosen from among all eligible
entries for their excellent essays about a
person or group who had inspired them
through their compassion
and leadership. Congratulations to all of
the participants!

To celebrate and say thank you, we are
thrilled to highlight MANY amazing
educators in our Quebec schools on the
LEARN blog. We received so many
wonderful words of praise and
testimonials from administrators,
colleagues, parents, and students, that
we posted tributes over three days. http://bit.ly/LEARN-blog-TA
Check out the latest process tools for
students: How to Create a Simple Map
and Comment écrire un texte incitatif.
Your students will thank you!
