United Monolithic Semiconductors, a joint venture created in 1996 between Thales and EADS, settled
in France and Germany, designs, produces and markets leading edge RF, microwave and millimetre
wave integrated circuits for Telecom, Space, Defence, Automotive and ISM applications.
In order to meet our development needs, we recruit for our site in Orsay (91) a
MICROWAVE DESIGN ENGINEER (M/F)
3 positions
Integrated to the ‘’Product Development and Programs’’ Department, you contribute to the
development and design of hybrids circuits or/and GaAs or GaN MMIC circuits. The field applications
are defence, telecommunications and car industry.
You will be led to ensure:

The circuit design with the assistance of electric simulation tools (ADS, Momentum…),
and layout tools (CADENCE). The domain of expertise will be mainly microwave and
millimeter wave on pHEMT and HBT technologies.
the organization and follow-up of all the tasks relating to your project development until the
circuit validation.
An active contribution to the circuit characterization (on wafer measure and / or the
characterization in application laboratory).
The respect of the fixed targets relating to performance, lead time and cost.
Full support to Marketing and Sales department and to the customers.
Highly trained in electronics, (engineer or academic training), you have already acquired a
consistent experience (3 years min.) and are motivated by the microwave integrated circuits
design. You are self-sufficient and have a keen sense of teamwork.
A thorough knowledge of English is essential.

INGENIEUR DE CONCEPTION CIRCUITS
INTEGRES EN HYPERFREQUENCE (H/F)
3 postes à pourvoir
Intégré au Département « Développement des produits et programmes », vous participerez au
développement et à la conception de circuits hybrides et/ou MMICs sur GaAs ou GaN. Les domaines
d’application sont la défense, les télécommunications et l’automobile.
Vous serez amené à assurer :
La conception des circuits à l’aide d’outils de simulation électrique (ADS, Momentum…),
et de dessin des circuits (CADENCE). Les principales technologies considérées sont le
pHEMT et le HBT,
L’organisation et le suivi des tâches relatives à votre projet jusqu’à la validation du circuit.
Une contribution active à la caractérisation du circuit (mesures sur plaque et/ou
caractérisation au laboratoire d’applications),
Le respect des objectifs fixés en termes de performances, délais et coût,
Les relations avec le service Marketing & Ventes ainsi qu’avec le client.
De formation supérieure en électronique (Ingénieur ou Universitaire), vous avez acquis une
expérience significative (3 ans minimum) dans le domaine de la conception de circuits intégrés
hyperfréquences au cours de laquelle vous avez développé autonomie et sens du travail en équipe.
