Découvrez l’histoire des ouvriers saisonniers et la culture des betterave jusqu’ à la production du miel et tous les applications du sucre.
Les collections au musée du sucre se sont divisés en 3 étages. Au
premier étage, on introduit les visiteurs au procédé de production de
la sucre. Au deuxième étage on voit comment on utilise le sucre et le
troisième étage est utilisé pour des expositions temporaires. Les visiteurs reçoivent un audio-guide à l’entrée.
Ga op zoek naar de geschiedenis van de suikerboeren en de
bietenoogst tot de honingproductie, tot alle mogelijke toepassingen
van suiker. De collecties in het Suikermuseum worden verdeeld over
de drie verdiepingen. Op het eerste verdiep worden bezoekers
meegenomen langs het productieproces van de suiker. De tweede
verdieping toont aan in welke vormen suiker geconsumeerd wordt. De
zolderverdieping is voorbehouden aan tijdelijke tentoonstellingen. De
bezoekers krijgen aan de ingang een audiogids.
Discover the history of the sugarfarmers and the farming of beetroot
up to the production of honey and all the applications of sugar. The
collections of the sugarmuseum is split up into 3 floors.
On the first floor, the visitors are introduced to the process of the
sugarproduction. On the second floor you can see in what way we use
sugar and on the tirth floor they hold temporary expositions. The
visitors receive at the entrance a audio-guide.

When on “Rue de Rosières » go
down till the next roundabout and
continue straight on, on the “Rue de
Genval” then on “Rue de Malaise”.
Continue to follow the road and the
name of the street will change to
“Rozierensesteenweg” then turn a bit
on the right on the “Poelweg” and

direction Overijse. Then take the A4E411 to Brussel. At crossing
‘Leonard’ take right - towards R0 Brussels. Then follow the direction

In Tienen continue on the Invalsweg, followed by the Moespikvest. Take left in the Bostsestraat,
right in the Grote Begstraat, left again in the Wolmarkt, right in the Peperstraat. You will arrive in
the Grote Markt.
