Description de la mission Our team builds high frequency trading algorithms focused on the Delta One space. Our main
goal is to develop successful Market Making strategies in stocks, futures and ETFs. We do
this through intensive global markets analysis and statistics oriented research. The team is in
charge of the end to end process from thinking about a new strategy to managing the resulting
trading portfolio.
We are looking for a junior Quant Trader/Researcher to join our High Frequency Trading desk
within the Global Equities Group based in London. This role sits within the front office and will
be working in a dynamic and busy trading floor environment. You will join the Delta One/HFT
team and work on improving our trading tools and algorithms in close collaboration with
experienced traders.
Key responsibilities :
• Undertake statistical analysis and modelling of signals
• Build and maintain tools to improve our research and trading capabilities
The role requires an enquiring meticulous mind, perseverance and intellectual curiosity.
Previous experience in high frequency trading is preferred.
Essential skills :
Good skills in R, Python and Java (or C#)
• Good knowledge of statistics and equity markets
• Background in engineering, mathematics/statistics or economics is preferable
• Defined interest in European equity markets
• Ability to work under pressure and to operate successfully in a team environment
• Ability to thrive on the challenge of competitive pressures and remain focused
