A few places are available to members to attend a condensed talk to be given by Mike Ulrich, a freelance
lecturer who has been involved in training professional accountants for over 20 years. He presents courses and
seminars for a number of organisations covering a wide range of auditing topics. In addition he is a technical
consultant to a number of firms and organisations.
The talk will last one and a half hours and will provide an overview of developments affecting auditing and
accounting in the UK, including:

Update on current Accounting Standards Board projects
FRS 100, FRS 101, and FRS 102
Companies Act developments
