An Act to make consequential amendments resulting from the
enactment of The Local Government Election Act, 2014

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of
Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
Short title
1 This Act may be cited as The Local Government Election Consequential Amendments
Act, 2014.
S.S. 1995, c.E-0.2 amended
2(1) The Education Act, 1995 is amended in the manner set forth in this section.
(2) Section 2 is amended in the definition of “elector” by striking out “The
Local Government Election Act” and substituting “The Local Government Election
Act, 2014”.
(3) Subsection 51.2(1) is amended by striking out “Part VI of The Local Government
Election Act” and substituting “Part X of The Local Government Election Act, 2014”.
(4) Subsection 97(3) is amended by striking out “subsection 45(3) of The Local
Government Election Act” and substituting “subsection 9(1) of The Local Government
Election Act, 2014”.
(5) Subsection 98(3) is amended by striking out “subsection 45(3) of The Local
Government Election Act” and substituting “subsection 9(1) of The Local Government
Election Act, 2014”.
(6) The provisions of the Act set out in Table 1 of the Schedule are amended
by striking out “The Local Government Election Act” wherever it appears and in
each case substituting “The Local Government Election Act, 2014”.
Coming into force
3 This Act comes into force on the day on which section 1 of The Local Government
Election Act, 2014 comes into force.

Modification du ch. E-0.2 des L.S. 1995
2(1) La Loi de 1995 sur l’éducation est modifiée de la manière énoncée au présent article.
(2) L’article 2 est modifié à la définition de « électeur » par suppression de « The
Local Government Election Act » et son remplacement par « The Local Government
Election Act, 2014 ».
(3) Le paragraphe 51.2(1) est modifié par suppression de « La partie VI de la loi
intitulée The Local Government Election Act » et son remplacement par « La partie X
de la loi intitulée The Local Government Election Act, 2014 ».
(4) Le paragraphe 97(3) est modifié par suppression de « paragraphe 45(3)
de la loi intitulée The Local Government Election Act » et son remplacement par
« paragraphe 9(1) de la loi intitulée The Local Government Election Act, 2014 ».
(5) Le paragraphe 98(3) est modifié par suppression de « paragraphe 45(3)
de la loi intitulée The Local Government Election Act » et son remplacement par
« paragraphe 9(1) de la loi intitulée The Local Government Election Act, 2014 ».
(6) Les dispositions de la loi énumérées dans la table 1 de l’annexe sont
modifiées par suppression de « The Local Government Election Act » chaque fois
qu’il y apparaît et son remplacement chaque fois par « The Local Government
Election Act, 2014 ».
Entrée en vigueur
3 La présente loi entre en vigueur le jour de l’entrée en vigueur de l’article 1 de la loi
intitulée The Local Government Election Act, 2014.
