The Oasis of Peace is located in the old presbytery next to St. Matthew’s Church in the parish of St. Peter. It was dedicated in October 2007 by Cardinal Cormac Murphy O’Connor and opened in September 2009 with a Celebratory Mass in the garden. Programme of activities The Chapel • Morning prayer The chapel is at the heart of the Centre. The well symbolises that Jesus • adoration provides us with the water of life. A monstrance is mounted on top of the well • Retreats so that adoration of the Blessed Sacrament can take place.
