Voici comment Le gouvernement du Canada pourrait ajouter à vos économies le Bon d’études canadien et la Subvention canadienne pour l’épargne-études lorsque vous ouvrez un Régime enregistré d’épargne-études (REEE) pour votre enfant. Bon d’études canadien Vous pourriez être admissible à recevoir 500 $, ainsi qu’un montant supplémentaire de 100 $ par année jusqu’à ce que votre enfant ait 15 ans si : • votre enfant est né en 2004 ou après; • vous recevez le Supplément de la prestation nationale pour enfants (parfois appelé « allocation familiale »). Vous n’avez rien à cotiser dans le REEE afin de recevoir le bon! Subvention canadienne pour l’épargne-études Selon votre revenu familial net, le gouvernement du Canada pourrait aussi ajouter de 20 à 40 % à votre cotisation annuelle admissible versée dans le REEE de votre enfant. Here’s How The Government of Canada could add the Canada Learning Bond and the Canada Education Savings Grant to your education savings after you open a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) for your child. Canada Learning Bond You may be eligible to get $500, plus $100 per year until your child is 15 years old, if: • your child was born in 2004 or after; and • you get the National Child Benefit Supplement (also known as the “family allowance”). You don’t have to put any of your own money into the RESP to receive the bond! Canada Education Savings Grant The Government of Canada could add 20 to 40% to your annual eligible contribution to your child’s RESP, based on your net family income.
