A Beijing, le 17 Août 2016, Helix International a rassemblé un parterre prestigieux
d’investisseurs publics et privés, de représentants des autorités gouvernementales,
d’entreprises et d’acteurs du monde financier
Denis Chabaneix et Bob Zhang, respectivement, Managing Partner et Partner d’Helix International
ont animé en anglais et en chinois, cette conférence sur invitation sur le sujet des « Opportunités
d’investissements : Europe – Afrique – Chine »
Denis Chabaneix a fait part de l’intérêt accru qu’ont les entreprises chinoises pour le marché français
et européen, par la présentation d’un certain nombre de transactions réalisées récemment en France
et en Europe et mis en évidence les facteurs clés de succès et les causes d’échecs. Quelques exemples
de reprises d’entreprises en difficultés avec succès ont été évoqués. Denis Chabaneix a également
montré les vastes opportunités s’ouvrant sur le continent africain, et la position établie de l’équipe d’Helix
International sur ce continent, étant présent à Casablanca, Dakar et Abidjan
Bob Zhang a partagé son expérience de conseil aux investisseurs chinois et étrangers en Chine,
exercée chez Goldman Sachs et Citic ainsi que dans le cadre d’Helix International dont il dirige le bureau
à Beijing, pour expliciter la problématique d’investissements et de reprises d’entreprises en Chine dans
le contexte actuel
Ensuite, une présentation de plusieurs opportunités concrètes d’investissements en France, et en
Afrique ainsi que d’entreprise d’entreprises à la recherche de partenaires en Chine.
Enfin, un échange fructueux de Q&A a eu lieu avec les participants entre eux et les dirigeants d’Helix
International.

Denis Chabaneix and Bob Zhang, respectively, Managing Partner and Partner of Helix International
facilitated in English and Chinese, this invitational conference on the topic "Investment Opportunities:
Europe - Africa - China»
Denis Chabaneix illustrated the increased interest of Chinese companies to the French and European
market by presenting a number of transactions carried out recently in France and Europe and highlighted
the key success factors and the causes of failures. Some examples of turning around successfully
companies in difficulties were discussed. Denis Chabaneix also showed the vast opportunities opening
up in Africa, and the established position of the Helix International team on this continent, being present
in Casablanca, Dakar and Abidjan
Bob Zhang shared his experience advising both domestic and foreign investors in China, as a former
senior executive from Goldman Sachs and Citic as well as a Partner of Helix International,presently
Head of its office in Beijing .Bob described the issues faced by foreign companies in investing with and
buying companies in China in the current context
Then, both partners presented several specific investment opportunities in France and Africa as well as
corporate business looking for partners in China.
Finally, a fruitful exchange of Q & A was held with the participants and the leaders of Helix International.
