Below you will find all the current information we have with regards to dates and travel. We will ensure all participants are kept up to date with any changes as they occur. These players have been identified as potential for the 1996 National Team. During the Canadian Youth Cup, they will be looked at and analyzed. The top 15 will be selected to the 1996 National Team. Youth 96 Women’s National Team Program Staff 1) David Paradelo – Head Coach 2) Mike Reid – Assistant Coach 3) Ms. Laurence Melançon – Manager 4) Julie Bélanger - Referee Training Locations in Montreal All training in Montreal will be split between the following two locations: 1) Women’s National Training Center – Montreal Olympic Pool 2) Parc Jean Drapeau Aquatic Center (site of 2005 FINA World Championships ) Local Accommodations Accommodation in Montreal for the athletes is at the CANDLEWOOD SUITES 191 René-Lévesque Boul. Est, Montreal, QC (514) 667-5002, on July 8th. Laurence Melançon will stay at the hotel with the athletes during the training camp. Meals All meals will be the responsibility of the athletes in Montreal. We are looking to have the athletes in accommodations with kitchens as was the case last summer. In the candlewood hotel suite the rooms will have kitchens. The staff will ensure that they have access to local grocery stores for purchasing food. Meals while traveling will be included and will be arranged through the local organizers. Transport All local transportation in Montreal including travel between the hotel and pool will be by Metro and will be coordinated by the staff on site. We will give your metro OPUS CARD as soon as you’re selected for the week. All athletes will be escorted from the hotel to the airport of Montreal July 14th and on the 22nd if required. All local transportation while in California will be arranged by the local organizers. Uniforms Each team member will receive a Water Polo Canada track suit, bag, shirt(s), bathing suit(s) and bathing cap(s). Passports You will require a valid Canadian passport for all activities this summer. Est, Montréal, QC (514) 667-5002, à partir du 8 juillet. Laurence Melançon demeurera à l’hotêl avec les athlètes durant le camp d’entrainement. L’hébergement en Californie sera coordonné par les organisateurs locaux et les détails vous seront communiqués dans un message spécifique sur l’évènement. Repas Tous les repas seront à la charge des athlètes à Montréal. Le personnel s’assurera que les joueuses ont accès à des épiceries locales pour l’achat de nourriture. Dans chaque chambre d’hôtel il y a une cuisinette. Les repas pendant les voyages seront inclus et seront prévus par les organisateurs locaux. Transport Tout le transport local à Montréal, incluant les déplacements entre l’hôtel et la piscine, se fera par métro et sera coordonné par le personnel sur place. Dès que le camp débutera on vous remettra une Carte OPUS pour la semaine. Toutes les athlètes seront escortées de l’hôtel à l’aéroport de Montréal le 14 juillet, incluant le retour le 22 juillet au besoin. Le transport local en Californie sera coordonné par les membres du personnel. Uniformes Tous les membres de l’équipe recevra un Track suit, un sac à dos, des t-shirts, des maillots de bain et des casques de bain de WPC. Passeports Vous aurez besoin d’un passeport canadien valide pour les activités de cet été. Comme c’est le cas pour tous les voyages internationaux, le passeport doit être valide pour 6 mois à compter de la date de départ du pays à l’étranger. N’oubliez pas de l’apporter à Montréal.
