Deerfield, ma 5.3% | a simple extra pale ale with great flavor and a refreshing hop finish. from one of the state’s best breweries Maine Beer Co., Zoe 16.9oz • 17 me 7.2% | amber ale with complex malt and dark fruit, but plenty of citrusy american hops Lexington, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale • 9 KY 8.2% | aged in bourbon barrels to smooth out the finish and give a disctinct vanilla flavor india pale ale Berkshire Brewing Co., Blonde IPA 22oz • 17 So. Deerfield, ma 7.4% | part of the brewmaster series. bright and citrusy on a pale malt base Pretty Things, Meadowlark IPA 22oz • 17 Westport, ma 7% | smells like the really good stuff! let’s just say my buddy in colorado would be really excited by this beer. like many of dann’s beers, this is packed with hops Stone, RuinTen IPA 22oz • 22 ca 10.8% | a rebrew of the tenth anniversary of ruination. labeled as a triple ipa and clocking in at 110 ibu’s, this beer will tear your mouth apart Stone, Ruination 2.0 IPA • 10 ca 8.5% | a reworking of the original ruination recipe. over the years they’ve discovered new methods of hop extraction, and this takes full advantage of them all Del Borgo, ReAle Extra • 16 it 6.4% | italian pale ale using american hops. dry finish with perfumed citrusy hop aromatics Ballast Point, Grapefruit Sculpin can • 9 ca 7% | west coast citrusy hopped sculpin with the addition of grapefruit peel Dogfish Head, 90 Minute IPA • 9.25 de 9% | continuously hopped for 90 minutes, it’s quite the powerful ipa. balanced by rich malt and raisiny fruit to offset the bitter hops Newburyport Brewing, Greenhead IPA can • 6.5 Newburyport, ma 7.2% | a very smooth and quaffable ipa, deep golden brown malt and not too sharp on the left coast hops brown ale Avery Brewing, Ellie’s Brown can • 7 co 5.5% | full bodied brown ale brewed in the american style with lots of chocolate malt flavor and pronounced hop presence 8 porter & stout Maine Beer Co., Mean Old Tom 16.9oz • 17 me 6.5% | intense dark stout aged on orgainc vanilla beans. oat flakes add a rich body Brown’s, Oatmeal Stout • 6.5 ny 5.25% | using the adjunct grain of oats, these beers get a smooth and mellowed creaminess. rich and complex, but without the sugar Samuel Smith, Organic Chocolate Stout • 8.75 uk 5% | a lighter styled stout with a real taste of milk chocolate. as is the tendecy of english beers, this one is smooth and mellow Dogfish Head, Worldwide Stout • 24 de 15-20% | limited release, intensely rich stout. it’s been chilling out in our cellar for a few months, which will only help to improve it. we were going to wait even longer but and we didn’t want to be selfish. br aggot Harpoon, Braggot Rights 22oz • 18 Boston, ma 8% | braggot is a sort-of cross between mead and barleywine. this one starts with a strong double ipa base with wildflower honey W H E AT A L E S belgian wit St. Bernardus, Blanche 750ml • 23 Belgium 5.5% | classically styled wit. orange peel and coriander are the base spices on a pillowy wheat frame. just me and my drank on a summery day Wittekerke, Wit Bier can • 6.75 belgium 5% | bright, zesty, and refreshing, with a light, clean finish german weisse Weihenstephaner, Vitus 16.9oz • 10.5 germany 7.7% | weizenbock - a weizen beer brewed to bock strength. intense banana and clove flavor of german wheats 9 BELGIAN / ST YLE saison Mystic Brewing, Saison Renaud 750ml • 18 Chelsea, ma 6.5% | made of just pilsner malt and saaz hops. named for the yeast strain developed in their own lab Enlightenment Ales, Titania 750ml • 26 Everett, ma 5.6% | a collaboration with danish brewer anders kissmeyer resulted in this nordic-style saison. brewed with rose hips, chamomile, heather, and wildflower honey, and fermented using enlightnment’s house saison yeast and brettanomyces. at one year of age, the funk and floral really come through Enlightenment Ales, Transcendence 750ml • 29 Everett, ma 6.2% | a dry hopped farmhouse saison of hazy gold withj rich earthy flavor specialty Orval • 14 belgium 6.2% | a truly distinctive beer, and the only one produced by the monastery. complex earthy aromatics from brettanomyces yeast. spicy hops and a very dry finish Orval, 2 years old • 17 belgium 6.2% | this is the same beer as above, but aged for a full year. the brett yeast does some funky s**t to this one :) patersbier Spencer • 13 Spencer, ma 6.5% | spencer became the ninth trappist brewery in 2013 and the first ever outside of europe. brewed adhering to strict practices, this beer is made using local malt and grain, and water from the monastery’s well. pale golden ale with aromas of banana and sweet clove tripel / strong golden Gouden Carolus, Cuvée Van de Keizer Rood 750ml • 24 Belgium 10% | brewed according to ancient traditions, golden yellow with refined, spicy aromatics and a powerful finish Bosteels, Tripel Karmeliet • 13 Belgium 8.4% | a double meaning for this brewery, tripel refers to the trio of grains used in the grist - barley, wheat, and oats Straffe Hendrik, Wild Tripel • 14 Belgium 9% | a funky brett-brewed belgian tripel. same recipe as their original but with wild yeasts Duvel • 10 Belgium 8.5% | dry, aromatic, and complex. explosively carbonated sour Petrus, Aged Red • 13 Belgium 8.5% | a blend of wood aged flanders brown ale and aged pale, with the addition of cherries for a little sweetness, but winelike character Boulevard, Love Child #4 750ml • 46 mo 9% | barrel aged “wild” ale with lactobacillus and brett for sourness and funk - just what you want when making a love child 10 dubbel Idle Hands, Dimples Redux 16.9oz • 14.5 Everett, ma 8.3% | a reformulated version of dubbel dimples, their original belgian double. this version is a little drier, but captures all the dried fruit flavors and caramelized sugar notes that’s a hallmark of this style Mystic Brewing, Vineland 3 • 14 Chelsea, MA 6% | third in the native yeast series. isolated from a wild fermentation of raspberries grown on the family farm in vermont Westmalle • 14 belgium 7% | one of the original abbey dubbels and still among the best. complex dark fruit and subtle hops quadrupel / strong dark Kasteel, Donker • 14 Belgium 11% | strong, dark, and brown. full-bodied and creamy. complex layers of dark fruits, rum, and molasses. slight sweetness on the finish. come give me some of that yum-yum chocolate chip, honey dip... St. Bernardus, Abt 12 Magnum Edition 2012 1.5 L • 86 Belgium 10% | the closest you can get to westvleteren without a trip to belgium. st bernardus used to contract brew for them until the new laws made it necessary for westvleteren to brew their own beer or lose the trappist designation. as a parting gift, st bernardus got to keep the yeast strain and the recipes. have a few friends who want to split a killer beer?
