Dear Brothers and Sisters:
As most of you are aware the CTY East and West are conducting a ratification ballot to establish a LTD
Plan for Conductors, Trainmen and Yardmen. Individual pin numbers will be sent out on November 7th,
and the voting will open by electronic ballot at 00:01 Mountain Time November 9, 2016. Voters will be
able to vote either via the telephone number provided or via the voting website online. All information
will be provided in your individual envelope forwarded to the current address we have on file.

If you agree to participate in a new Long Term Disability Plan, please indicate by voting YES in favour
of the Proposal. The votes will be tabulated for the entire country, including both the Western and
Eastern Regions collectively and will be based on the majority of the ballots received.
The Executives of the respective CTY General Committees feel strongly that this new Long Term
Disability Plan is vital to provide adequate income to our membership and their families should
you become disabled, and we recommend acceptance of this Proposal.

Comme la plupart d'entre vous le savent, l'Est et l'Ouest de la procèdent à un scrutin de ratification
pour établir un plan d'ILD pour les Chefs de train, Agents de train et Agents.
Les numéros d'indentification personnel individuels seront envoyés le 7 novembre et le vote s'ouvrira
par bulletin électronique à 00 :01 temps de montagne le 9 novembre 2016. Les électeurs pourront voter
soit via le numéro de téléphone fourni, soit via le site Web de vote en ligne. Toutes les informations

reçus.
Les Dirigeants des Comités généraux CAT sont convaincus que ce nouveau Régime d'invalidité
de longue durée est essentiel afin de fournir un revenu adéquat à nos membres et leur famille
dans le cas où ils seraient frappés d'invalidité. Par conséquent, nous vous recommandons
d'accepter cette Proposition.
