Présentation :
Pour illustrer ces thèmes, le réalisateur Anup Singh et la compositrice Béatrice
Thiriet ont choisi une composition pour petit orchestre d’une vingtaine de
musiciens, privilégiant l'utilisation d'instruments solistes rares comme le
hautbois d'amour et la flûte basse …Tout cela donne lieu à une bande
originale envoûtante, mélodique et mystique révélant l’âme du film et faisant
allusion à la tourmente des sentiments qui s’empare de chaque personnage.
Une belle collaboration qui nous emporte dans une sombre réalité (La
Partition en Inde) et nous laisse imaginer à travers cette musique si singulière,
les paysages du Penjab.
