Dear all,
Le projet Promouvoir une Gouvernance Efficace de
l’Ecosystème Manche (PEGASEAS) organise trois
forums en 2014. Ces événements ont pour but de
rassembler les décideurs, gestionnaires, parties
prenantes et scientifiques afin d’améliorer la
gouvernance de l’écosystème de la Manche en utilisant
les sciences naturelles et sociales.
The Promoting Effective Governance of the Channel
Ecosystem project (PEGASEAS) is hosting three Cross
Channel Forum events in 2014. These events are
designed to bring together policy-makers, practitioners,
stakeholders, and scientists to advance the governance
of the Channel ecosystem using natural and social
science.
Nous sommes fiers de vous annoncer que le second
forum, intitulé
"Science et Gouvernance de
l’écosystème marin dans l’espace Manche" aura lieu
à Caen les 2 et 3 Juillet 2014. Cet événement est
organisé par les scientifiques d'Ifremer Boulogne-surMer et de l'Université de Caen Basse-Normandie et se
concentrera sur l’intégration des sciences marines
dans la gouvernance de l’écosystème de la Manche.
We are proud to announce that the second Cross
Channel Forum is entitled “Science and Governance
of the Marine Ecosystem of the English Channel”

and will be held in Caen on the 2 and 3 of July 2014.
This event is being organised by scientists from Ifremer
Boulogne-sur-Mer and the University of Caen BasseNormandie and will focus on integrating marine
science into the governance of the Channel
ecosystem.
Le Forum donnera l’opportunité aux:
- Scientifiques de contribuer à des analyses
transdisciplinaires de l’écosystème marin de la
Manche en partageant leur résultats et leurs
conclusions
- Décideurs et gestionnaires de prendre en compte
les avancées scientifiques réalisées récemment sur
l'écosystème marin de la Manche et de voir leur
utilisation afin d’améliorer la gouvernance de la
Manche.
The Forum will provide opportunities for:
- Scientists to contribute to a trans-disciplinary
analysis of the Channel marine ecosystem by
sharing their results and conclusions.
- Stakeholders and policy-makers to hear about
recent research into the Channel marine ecosystem
and consider how this can support the governance
of the Channel.
Un appel officiel pour la soumission de présentations
orales et de posters sera bientôt envoyé. Des
informations sur le forum et sur les inscriptions à celui-ci
seront bientôt visibles en ligne sur le site de
PEGASEAS http://www.pegaseas.eu et sur S&G-CCF.
A formal call for presentations and posters will be issued
shortly. Information and online registration will be
available from: http://www.pegaseas.eu and S&G-CCF.
Les présentations et les posters pourront être publiés
dans un recueil à la suite du colloque.
All presentations and posters presented during the
forum will be published in as a Cross Channel Forum
Report after the event.
