AVIS DE MODIFICATIONS à la Convention régissant l’utilisation de la carte MasterCardMD de la 29569-001 (2013/11/26) 201303100 Banque Nationale du Canada Le 16 mars 2014, la Convention régissant l’utilisation de la carte MasterCardMD de la Banque Nationale sera modifiée, notamment quant à la responsabilité du solde du compte et aux privilèges liés au compte MasterCard, dont l’accès à certaines informations. Responsabilité du solde du compte MasterCard Le détenteur principal du compte MasterCard sera dorénavant désigné comme le « titulaire principal » alors que le codétenteur deviendra un « utilisateur autorisé ». Leur responsabilité quant au remboursement du solde du compte sera modifiée comme suit : >Jusqu’au 15 mars 2014, le détenteur principal et le codétenteur seront solidairement responsables du remboursement du solde du compte, soit de toute transaction effectuée en date du 15 mars, incluant notamment les achats, les transferts de solde, les avances de fonds ainsi que les intérêts et les frais imputés à cette date. >À compter du 16 mars 2014, le titulaire principal deviendra le seul responsable des transactions effectuées à partir de cette date, soit les achats, les transferts de solde, les avances de fonds ainsi que les intérêts et les frais imputés à compter du 16 mars, y compris notamment les transactions effectuées par un utilisateur autorisé. notamment l’adresse y figurant, le type de carte et la limite de crédit autorisée. Privilèges liés à la carte L’utilisateur autorisé pourra continuer de consulter les transactions effectuées avec sa carte, notamment en utilisant les Solutions Bancaires par Internet (SBI), mais il n’aura pas accès aux informations du compte MasterCard. L’utilisateur autorisé pourra également demander l’annulation de sa carte ainsi que son remplacement si celle-ci est abîmée, perdue ou volée; il devra aussi en signaler à la Banque la perte ou le vol ainsi que toute utilisation non autorisée. Relevé mensuel et autres avis réglementaires À compter du 16 mars 2014, seul le titulaire principal recevra le relevé mensuel et les avis réglementaires émis par la Banque Nationale relativement au compte MasterCard. IMPORTANT Si vous êtes le titulaire principal, veuillez communiquer ces modifications aux utilisateurs autorisés de votre compte MasterCard, le cas échéant. NOTICE OF CHANGES to the Agreement Governing the Use of the MasterCard ® Credit Card issued by 29569-002 (2013/11/26) 201303100 National Bank of Canada On March 16, 2014, the Agreement governing the use of the MasterCard® credit card issued by National Bank will be modified, namely with respect to the liability for the repayment of the outstanding balance and to the privileges related to the MasterCard account, including access to some information. Liability for Outstanding Balance of MasterCard Account The main cardholder of the MasterCard Account will now be designated as the “primary cardholder” whereas the additional cardholder will become an “authorized user”. Their liability with respect to the repayment of the outstanding balance will be modified as follows: >Until March 15, 2014, the main cardholder and the additional cardholder will be held jointly and severally liable (solidarily in Quebec) for the repayment of the outstanding balance of the MasterCard account, which includes all transactions made until March 15, namely purchases, cash advances, balance transfers as well as any interest and fees charged up to and including this date. >As of March 16, 2014, the primary cardholder will become solely liable for transactions made to the account, namely purchases, cash advances and balance transfers as well as interest and fees charged as of this date, including all transactions made by an authorized user. MasterCard account, and will be authorized to make changes to such information, including the address, the type of card and the credit limit. The primary cardholder will also be the only one who may obtain MasterCard cheques, request additional cards and designate an authorized user. Privileges related to the Card The authorized user will continue to have access to transactions and information pertaining to his card, namely by using Internet Banking Solutions (IBS), but he will no longer have access to information about the MasterCard account. The authorized user will also be able to request the cancellation and replacement of his card should it be damaged, lost or stolen; he must also notify the Bank of its loss or theft as well as of any unauthorized use. Monthly Statement and Other Regulatory Notices As of March 16, 2014, only the primary cardholder will receive monthly statements and regulatory notices issued by National Bank with respect to the MasterCard account.
