et batteur, Phil Collins est une star comme
on n'en voit pas souvent. Il est aussi bien connu
en Angleterre comme dans le reste du monde et il
a su traverser les années sans perdre le moindre
degré de son charisme. Comme au temps de
Genesis avec les succès que l'on connaît, il a fait
des albums solo remarquables et inoubliables avec des titres comme Another Day in
Paradise, Dance into The Light ou encore Both Sides of The Story. Avec son nouveau titre
You'll Be in My Heart, il signe une collaboration avec Disney en réalisant la bande originale du film Tarzan et nous fait profiter du talent dont il bénéficie.

de la série animée
South Park, ont réalisé une
prouesse en adaptant sur
grand écran les histoires de
Cartman, Kenny, Stan, Chef,
Officier Barbrady et Mr
Guarrison.
La série très singulière par
son style graphique, un peu
comme pour Les Simpson,
s'est basée sur le contenu
hilarant et burlesque des
scénarios qui, rappelons-le,
est d'un réalisme à couper le
souffle. Les dessinateurs ont
justement insisté sur l'aspect
quelque peu simple et très
caricatural des
dessins pour faire passer
leurs messages et coups
de gueule.
South Park : Bigger,
Longuer & Uncut, sorti
depuis le 30 juin, a déjà
rapporté à ses producteurs
un peu plus de 35 millions
de dollars de recette, ce qui
est à prendre en
considération pour une
sanimation qui n'est ni un
Disney ni un Don Bluth,
réalisant ainsi un profit
conséquent et
croquant dans la part du
gâteau réservé à l'origine
aux grands studios
d'animations.

Déjà le remake du film Les Diaboliques avec
Sharon Stone et Isabelle Adjani n'avait pas
vraiment convaincu. Le remake de Guetapens avec le couple Baldwin Bassinger n'avait pas vraiment fait des adeptes de cette
nouvelle version, alors pour cette nouvelle
adaptation d'un titre mythique du cinéma
américain, le pari reste très aléatoire et le plus
grand enjeu espérer est que cette nouvelle
adaptation reste dans les annales du cinéma.
Les studios MGM/UA détenteurs des droits
du films ont parié aussi sur l'exploit du réalisateur John McTiernan qui a déjà à son actif
des film comme Predator, Die Hard ou The
Last Action Hero pour faire la différence et
peut-être marquer les esprits avec cette nouvelle version.

e 6 août dernier était la sortie dans
les salles américaines du remake du
film L'affaire Thomas Crown avec
Pierce Brosnan et Rene Russo. Tout en reprenant l'histoire d'origine, les deux acteurs
auront une responsabilité et un devoir de
perfection face à la
version de 1968 dans
laquelle jouait le très
regretté
Steve
McQueen et Faye
Dunaway. Il est évident que la comparaison n'est pas la plus importante, mais comment s'empêcher de se souvenir de la prestation très sensible du héros de Papillon.
