Wage Act", being Chapter 173 of the Revised Statutes of
British Columbia, 1924, and amending Act, IIERBFRT GEDDES,
of Vancouver, be appointed a Member of the Women's Kinimum
Wage Board, in the place of Thomas Mathews, deceased.

Re: Order-in-Council appointing Herbert Geddes
Member Minimum Wage Board for Women.
When Mr. McKenzie left for Ottawa he requested me to
fill the vacancy on the Women's Minimum Wage Board as soon
as I could obtain a suitable gentleman for the position.
I have been successful in securing the consent of
Mr. Herbert Geddes of Vancouver to act as a member of the
Board in plane of the late Mr. Mathews.
On securing Mr. Geddes's consent I wired Mr. McKenzie
at Ottawa asking his approval.
Mr. McKenzie has replied
by telegram approving of the appointment of Mr. Geddes, and
the attached Order-in-Council is to make the appointment
effective.
