Tâche finale – mon animal préféré
Due: April 4th
This assignment counts towards your oral and writing mark in French.
VERY IMPORTANT: Please follow the instructions below. Do NOT use other verbs outside of the
verbs I have asked in the instructions. This is a basic description of an animal – I am not interested
in what the animal eats or where it lives or any other extra information besides a basic description.
You will have an opportunity to give me more details about an animal in later grades when you are
more familiar with verbs and how to conjugate. Also, please DO NOT use any translation programs
online or offline.
Instructions
You will write a total of 8-10 sentences describing your favourite animal:

In your presentation, you will include an introduction and concluding sentence.
You will write at least 3 describing sentences using the correct form of “avoir”
You will write at least 3 describing sentences using the correct form of “être” followed by an
adjective.
You will use the correct form of the adjective.
Note: Please vary the beginning of your sentence. Do not start all your sentences with the
same words
Example of what not to do:
La girafe est grande.
La girafe est jaune avec des taches brunes. La girafe est rapide.
Example of what to do (changing the beginning):
La girafe est grande.
Elle est jaune avec des taches brunes.
Mon animal est rapide.

OR

Concluding sentence :
