Le président fondateur du Festival Automobile International a flirté de nombreuses fois avec des événements
sportifs automobiles en tant qu’organisateur : Championnat de France des Voitures de Production (Noscar)
de 1981 à 1985 et co-organisateur avec Franz Hummel des 24H de Chamonix de 1985 à 2003.
C’est en 1985 qu’il crée le Festival Automobile International dont ce sera la 30ème édition en janvier 2015.
De Chamonix jusqu’en 2001 à Paris au Ritz, puis au Grand Palais, le Festival Automobile s’est installé aux
Invalides depuis 2008 et se positionne en qualité de «Fashion week» du design automobile. Exposition unique
au monde de concept cars, accueillant près de 30.000 visiteurs chaque année, le Festival récompense aussi au
travers d’une cérémonie le talent des grands designers, photographes, artistes, architectes, pilotes, ayant réalisé
des œuvres majeures autour de l’automobile.
Autre corde à son arc, il est le président de Cerealis, société fondée en 1995, leader Européen d’exportation
de céréales vers le continent africain. Mais c’est bien évidemment à sa grande connaissance des concept-cars
que Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille fera appel.

President and founder of the International Automobile Festival, he has flirted numerous times with motor racing events as an
organiser: French Championship of Production cars (Noscar) from 1981 to 1985 and co-organiser with Franz Hummel of
the Chamonix 24H from 1985 to 2003.
In 1985, he founded the International Automobile Festival which will celebrate its 30th edition in January 2015. From
Chamonix up until 2001 to Paris at the Ritz, then the Grand Palais, the Automobile Festival settled in 2008 at the Invalides
and positions itself as the Automobile Design Fashion Week. A one of a kind concept cars’ exhibition, welcoming nearly
30 000 visitors each year, the Festival rewards the talents of well-known designers, photographers, artists, architects, racing cars
who have produced major works around the automobile through a ceremony.
Adding another string to his bow, Rémi is president of Cerealis, founded in 1995, Europe’s leading grain exporter to the
African continent. But it is obviously for his extensive knowledge of concept cars that Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard
Mille will call upon him.
