There are several options for night passengers on VIA
Rail trains.
• In Comfort class (economy), passengers are provided
with a blanket and a pillow for a relaxing night in the
comfortable reclining seats.
• Are hotel-style conveniences more your style? Choose
the Sleeper class option that’s right for you:
– Upper berths offer the most economical way to travel
in quiet comfort. A more spacious lower berth only
costs a few extra dollars. By day, berths become two
large recliners facing each other. A table can be
placed between them on request. At night, the
space is separated from the aisle by a heavy curtain. Washrooms and showers are just steps away.
– In a single bedroom, you sleep in complete privacy.
Within your locked room you’ll find a fan, a power
outlet, and a private washroom with sink and mirror. The shower is a few steps down the hall.
– Double bedrooms include two armchairs, a small
closet, a fan, a power outlet, a private washroom,
a sink, a mirror, and, on request, a table. The
shower is just down the hall. At night, two cozy bunk
beds replace the chairs. Aboard the Hudson Bay
(Winnipeg-Churchill) the luxury Northern Spirit double bedroom offers a large sofa – the better to take
in the majestic northern landscape.
– The biggest private room on the train is the triple
bedroom, which offers, by day, a sofa and two armchairs. By night, it features one upper and two lower
bunks.
• Looking for a romantic getaway? Spoil yourself with
Romance by Rail: fresh flowers, chocolates on your pillow, and sparkling wine every evening. In your roomy
suite made up of two regular rooms joined together,
impeccable sheets, a down comforter, and breakfast
in bed await you.

des trains de VIA Rail.
• En classe Confort (économique), on vous fournit une
couverture et un oreiller. De quoi passer une bonne nuit
à même les sièges inclinables confortables.
• Vous préférez le confort d’un hôtel ? Choisissez
l’hébergement offert dans les classes voitures-lits :
– La couchette superposée du haut est la façon la plus
économique de voyager en tout confort et dans la
quiétude. Plus commode, la couchette superposée
du bas ne vous coûtera que quelques dollars supplémentaires. De jour, deux vastes fauteuils se font
face. Une table peut même être installée sur
demande. Un épais rideau sépare l’espace du corridor, la nuit venue. Et les toilettes et la douche ne
sont qu’à quelques pas.
– Dans une chambre occupation simple, vous disposez
d’un espace entièrement privé, avec ventilateur, prise
de courant, toilette, lavabo, miroir. La douche est à
votre disposition dans le couloir.
– La chambre occupation double met à votre disposition deux fauteuils, un petit placard, un ventilateur,
une prise de courant, une toilette privée, un lavabo,
un miroir et, sur demande, une table. La nuit, deux
confortables lits superposés remplacent les fauteuils.
À bord du Baie d’Hudson (Winnipeg-Churchill), la
chambre occupation double de luxe Esprit du Nord
vous offre, de jour, un spacieux canapé. Encore
plus de confort pour admirer les paysages du Nord
canadien.
– Plus grande chambre à bord du train, la chambre
occupation triple présente, de jour, un sofa et deux
fauteuils. De nuit, on vous installera une couchette
du haut et deux du bas.
• Envie d’une escapade romantique ? Laissez-vous gâter
avec le Train des amoureux : fleurs fraîches, chocolat
sur l’oreiller et vin mousseux au départ du train, et ce
